It was excellent value for money the staff friendly and although in the middle of a two day storm lovely countryside. Food beautiful and tasty also value for mony my wife and myslef will be staying there again. We thought it Excellent If we didn't you and them would know about it by now.

It was a pleasant stay. Breakfast was lovely. The rest of the staff nice especially the Manager Tall guy on Sat morning. Rooms nice and clean. One of the bar managers I think Mark he worked late Fri night 2oth April very miserable not at all friendly and most un welcoming

The cooked breakfast. The area out side the pub was very noisey at 10.30pm with youngsters shouting and swearing. The shower in my husbands room was too low and he is only 5ft 10in, and the window in that bedroom did not cose properly so the noise travelled into the room.

Lovely old coaching inn with a great bar and friendly locals, with a pleasant restaurant with good pub grub. It was a very cold weekend when we stayed, and our room was warm, and cosy with a very comfortable bed and pillows. En suite was functional and and clean. Good full English breakfast. Very friendly hotel with pleasant and friendly staff. We've stayed before and will stay again. There were a couple of small house keeping issues with our room, and we complained about one of our evening meals, but when we mentioned this to the staff our comments were taken on board things were resolved in a satisfactory manor.

The total relaxation and comfort,the rooms are spotless large and very comfortable,warm freindly atmosphere selection of food and drinks,the food is outstanding fresh local produce cooked to perfection, I have stayed at this location 4 times this year 3 with work and 1 with family would highly recomend without hesitation cant rate the hotel and staff high enough

Nice location . Room clean and tidy if a little impersonal. Food ver y good. £78 a lite ricey perhaps , we paid £48 which was a bargain.... Maybe betweem the two is a better price, all in all excellent Breakfast just right Slighy unfinished detailing in room bathroom. Could do with some photos tO add chracter enhan ce' boutique' feel of room

The bedding was totally inadequate: the first night was very cold. My friends managed to loan me an extra set of blankets for the second night. I approached the hotel staff, who said "no one had complained before" daft answer, person needs serious training !!

Food was good. Hotel very tatty and needs money spending on it. Room was small and not very clean. Bathroom needed attention. When we booked we asked for a room that didnt have too many stairs to get to it, but when we arrived, we were told that the rooms were allocated automatically and they hadn't even acknowledged our request.
