White Hart Hotel

Over recent years the White Hart has grown a reputation for serving high quality, home-cooked food and using fresh locally-sourced produce. This is reflected in the menu, which changes daily and offers White Hart pub classics. Booking a table prior to arrival is strongly advised, especially at weekends.

Ales from Wiveliscombe’s 2 breweries, Cotleigh and Exmoor, are regularly on offer. In addition to this, a variety of other regional and award-winning guest ales are always available.

Area information

The historic market town of Wiveliscombe, known locally as "Wivey", is situated on the edge of the Brendon Hills. Only 11 miles from Taunton, Wivey acts as the gateway to Exmoor National Park, an area of outstanding natural beauty and an ideal centre for walking and cycling.

To the north east of Wivey are the Quantock Hills, which are also designated an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and to the south are the Blackdown Hills.

By rail:
To Taunton Main Line Station (2 hours to Paddington, under an hour Exeter and Bristol) and then by Taxi or Coach.
