The location was terrific and the hotel, even though old and historic, looked as if it had recently been refurbished which was nice. Smallish but tasteful room. The plug in our tub was broken and even though we asked twice for it to be repaired over the course of 3 days, it wasn't. This meant that when my wife was taking a bath the overflow valve didn't work properly and leaked into the bar downstairs! |

Clean room with good hairdryer, iron and ironing board, extra toiletries in the wardrobe with the spare towels. Good central location, 2 mins from the cathedral and the main shopping/eating out area. Nice breakfast. Didn't eat in the hotel in the evening. |

Very friendly, warm atmosphere; very comfortable, bit of luxury, good position. Excellent breakfast and late check-out appreciated. Fire alarm went off at 3am and we all fell out into the car park for half hour - luckily it was a warm night for lst Nov. It went off again, just as we were going to sleep!! However, on checking out, reception readily agreed that breakfast would be complimentary. |

We stayed at the White Hart because of its location in the centre of Salisbury to be near the Cathedral where we had an exhibition. The breakfast was good but we did not have dinner so we cannot comment on that. My wife complained that there was no shower cap in the bathroom otherwise it was fine. Your lobby area is beginning to look a bit tired - crumpled cushions etc. |

Our executive room was very comfortable, breakfast was excellent and staff were very helpful. Hotel is in an excellent location for visiting Salisbury, close to the cathedral and free parking was a big bonus Could have done with more than one pillow each but really should have asked at reception for extra ones |

i liked the courtyard garden As breakfast was not included in our tariff we requested tea and toast each morning. No member of staff informed us we would be billed for the full breakfast and consequently we paid £27.00 each day for a cup of tea and a piece of toast. |

Breakfast room was pleasant and the breakfasts too. The internal decoration and maintenance was very good. 1. Our room, on the second floor, was hot and stuffy. The cheap fan in the room was too noisy to use. The window didn't open fully and in any case couldn't be kept open because of the traffic noise. 2. A dangerous step on the top corridor caused an elderly gentleman, who walked with a stick, to fall. 3. We were awoken at midnight on our first night by a fire alarm. Two members of staff told us that the alarm was set off by toast burning in the kitchen. No apology was offered. 4. We tried to have tea in the garden, but there was no service. |

The service from the receptionist and the chap in the bar when we arrived was excellent. We had a nice dinner and again the staff were excellent and most attentive. Room could have been cleaner and wallpaper had peeled off under window & bathroom bin was unemptied from previous guest. Fire alarm at midnight caused by staff burning toast most annoying & then to go to evacuation point with a few of the other guests (most remained in their rooms!) with no staff appearing there to check everything all right or give direction. Breakfast was OK but the egg which was obtained from the kitchen was probably about 2 hours old! |

location to cathedral, parking, pleasant reception areas, excellent bathroom The room - seriously this was a single room and as such would have been adequate. The bed was wedged up a wall, leavng me to sleep balanced on the edge. On arrival the receptionist seemed perturbed that (internet booking) we had a 'preferential rate'. This translated to 'put them in our worst room'. False economy it gives a poor first impression of the Mercure hotel group & we travel a lot. We reported the noisy air conditioning, regretably essential due to proximity oif window to kitchen fans. |

Within easy walking distance of shops. Quiet atmosphere in public lounges. Not enough staff to cope with guests at breakfast. There were queues at door waiting for tables to free up and for staff to lay up tables. Room allocated was backing onto main street and no secondary double glazing to help with noise during the night. |

This hotel is Salisbury's hidden treasure. Walk through the 13th century coaching archway to the unique courtyard that lies beyond. |
A mile from Salisbury city centre, this 4-star (AA) B&B is in its own beautiful gardens, well situated on the A36 for Stonehenge, Salisbury Cathedral, Old Sarum and Longleat. |
Ten XIII-wieczny zajazd oferuje oszałamiające widoki na rzekę Avon i zachwycającą katedrę w Salisbury. Niedawno przeprowadzono w nim wart milion funtów remont. |
In the heart of historic Salisbury, this beautifully preserved Tudor building is rich in original character, with wooden wall panelling, stone fireplaces, freestanding baths and four-poster beds. |
