Nothing comes to mind.
What was really outstanding was the quality of food and speed of service at breakfast. Few hotels or restaurants are so attentive and quick. Check-in/out is speedy Room very comfortable with free wifi which automatically logs on. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
Nothing at all to dislike.
Location - 5 minute walk into Kingston. Great value for money, clean and comfortable.
Could hear noises from other bedrooms
The White Hart is in an excellent location for visiting the town of Kingston upon Thames which a 5 minute walk away which has many water front bars and restaurants. Excellent location if you are a runner, walker or cyclist. We will return shortly.
Comfort of room and layout. A window that opens safely. Complimentary bottle of water. Rubber bath mat.
Toilet seat was unstable. Shower head needs replacing as chrome is peeling off and scratches hands.
bedroom very clean and comfortable. staff extremely helpful. dogs enjoyed their stay.
we have nothing negative to say.
Reception & Catering staff were both freindly & very responsive to our needs
Very close to bus stop and train stations and just across the bridge to get into Kingston shopping centre which is a lovely area with shopping for everyone. Good food in the restaurant and very reasonable prices. Ideal location for rugby at Twickenham, just a short bus ride away.
The only criticism is that the bed was just a double size and we would have preferred to have had at least a king size bed. But the staff have said that this is something they are looking into, I hope they do.
1. staff efficient and pleasant on reception and in restaurant 2. quiet room traffic-wise - but see on right 3. food for breakfast and the evening meal we had was tasty, healthy, fresh
1. too many water-like noises, from the room upstairs and from the heater/air-conditioning which we were not using 2. bed too small for a tall person as is my husband and not wide enough for these days when beds are bigger. We are both slim and the bed itself was comfortable) 3. in bathroom several problems - the basin plug didn't work, the mixer taps are terrible (they do not mix so there is one stream of boiliing water and one stream of cold water) and the soap dish in the bath was falling off 4. the remote for the TV didn't work; flat batteries
Location was out of central London and good for visiting Hampton Court Palace and Kew Gardens. Short bus ride from Heathrow. Staff very helpful and gave good advice regarding local transport options. Enjoyed meal in Restaurant on site. We had a room at back of property so it was in a quiet location. Short walk across bridge to excellent shopping and restaurant precinct. Would definitely stay again.
The nice girl in the reception on Sunday morning - she was so friendly that the day was already saved when talking to her!
The fan in the bathroom was so noisy that you could expect it to fall down to the floor
The staff went out of their way to accommodate an early check-in for us, as we had a wedding to attend. The hotel room was clean and the hotel was in an excellent location with just a short walk across the bridge into the centre of Kingston. Great value for money, will stay again!
Room on the ground floor over-looking the car park was a bit dark, but this was a very minor point.
Location was ideal for our purposes
The towel rail was permanently on making the room very hot as there was no on/off control - hence the sleeping question only gets a fair comment rather than good
a bit expensive for a little room
*Location to town centre, Hampton Court Palace and surrounding areas *Price *Decor / Modern *Had everything we needed *Wifi
*Can't think of any negatives about the hotel to be honest!
The professional attitude of the manager. He arranged within short time that we got another room after complaining about the difficulty of closing the window of our room situated on the ground floor.
Great location for Hampton Court Palace. Great staff, nothing was too much. Great food in the bar.
Bed was very uncomfortable. Might just have been my room. Was occasionally noisy, when other guests were going in and out of their rooms. Again, might just have been the people staying at the time.
Worse standard room we have ever stayed in! Room 105! Wish we stayed in a premier inn! Double bed was so small and uncomfortable! Bath non slip matt had mould underneath! Can't believe I bathed my baby in that! Had to wait 25 minutes for my baby food to be microwave! Carpet dirty and worn! Worse hotel I have ever stayed in!
Bathroom was clean and the bed was comfortable
Bedroom was so hot through the night it was almost impossible to sleep, aircon was so noisy this also disrupted sleep, needs sorting soon!
Have stayed at this hotel at least 6 times over last 2 years. The interior has shown gradual signs of deterioration by way of poor decor, small beds and tatty curtains for some time. All the rooms badly need a complete refurbishment.
just about everything especially the location for hampton court via the boat ferry
we are used to a firm large bed so found the standard double to be on the small side.
Quick check-in and room was available before official check-in time of 2pm - both really appreciated as traffic trouble meant we were running late for a wedding. The receptionist kindly called us a taxi to the wedding venue and was helpful in helping us get money (cash-back available from the bar when you make a purchase). Lots of parking. All in all, a perfect stopover hotel if you happen to be in the vicinity. Area seemed v pleasant but didn't explore.
Uncomfortable beds have ruined holidays for me all over the world but not at The White Hart! Comfy mattresses, soft pillows ... Great! The food was excellent and the staff could not have been kinder. Would I stay again? Definitely!
Freindly staff spacious room the shepherds pie. The towels were the best I've experienced the the room very clean.
Mattress hard has had its day. Vegetables repetitive . I've had enough of mange to. We were there four nights.
Very pleasant staff. Informative, helpful and jolly. Restaurant food was delicious Felt at home wandering around the hotel. Very accommodating for my bike storage easy to access (24hr reception) it at silly O'clock int the morning. Great location!
