A little gem tucked away from the hustle and bustle. Although there was building work going on at the time it was still very quiet even though it was on a busy road. The food was fantastic - really tasted home cooked! Everything was clean and well maintained. My main point of praise however is the staff - the 2 ladies who we met on reception Carys and Carianne were so friendly and professional and couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating!!
proximity to good pubs and restaurants
Internet was unacceptable slow
Location and friendly staff
Excellent facilities and great location for Kingston and local attractions. very friendly and helpful staff
Easy walk across the bridge to the shops and restaurants
From registering at reception to checking out the service was excellent. Could not fault breakfast and the bar staff were friendly and helpful. Well done in making our stay enjoyable.
Just need a little TLC in the decorating quarter. Just a little dated otherwise no complaints.
Close to lovely riverside walks but easy train ride to Waterloo. Everything clean and comfortable. Kingston is great if you want somewhere accessible for London but quieter and "greener".
Nothing much. Room wasn't cleaned till nearly 5pm one day.
Clean well appointed hotel which met our needs entirely.
Good location near a train stop. Friendly and helpful staff. Our room was clean and warm. Good food.
Location. Central to Kingston.
TV POOR. Very few channels available. Lack of any heat in room on arrival on very cold Winter day.
The location was perfect for visiting family, Kingston and lovely walks. The very friendly staff. The breakfast
The double bed was only 4ft 6
Location was ideal for shopping and very near a couple of lovely breakfast places within easy walking distance across the other side of the bridge to the right on the waterside. We had lunch in the bar which was good.
An excellent location, just accros the bridge from Kingston. Comfortable Good food
The staff and the breakfast. ..
geat room and breakfast
Really nice hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the beds were very comfortable.
Only minor negative point was the cost of the breakfast- but I suppose thats London for you.
Friendly staff. Easy parking. Location. Comfortable room.
Inadequate sound proofing between rooms. Noisy air conditioning unit.
I like the location of hotel
1) the sofa bed is horrible soft. 2) the taxi booking is horrible late (upto 20mins)
Breakfast (lovely selection) One of the reason we choose The White Hart is because cooked food is made to order). Easy access to main roads (although it does take some skill to enter traffic flow at roundabout). Rooms are always nice (not too warm). Overlay on mattress makes a great difference to comfort.
Problems parking (disabled) Unable to use cold tap in bath (used kettle to cool bath water). The tap was very stiff and even when I managed to move it a bit, nothing came out. We were upgraded to a room with a mini bar. As the bed was a standard 4ft 6, the mini bar was the only thing extra. The mini bar had orange juice, water and 2 beers. On previous visits when we have had a room with a mini bar, there was a bottle of wine and some minatures, along with mixers and water. Is this cut-back due to the recession or did we only qualify for a mini upgrade?
We liked the location and the short walk to the centre. Our room was comfortable.
might need some renovating
Family room sofa bed was a little rickety and was not made up with a duvet just a sheet and blanket. We asked for it to be changed and it was but it meant one uncomfortable night.
The knackered lumpy bed!!
Ideal for trains 2 Twickenham.
Traffic into Hampton wick.
quiet rooms free parking
nothing to dislike
