I booked a twin room and was allocated a double with a very small bed. Upon complaining I was informed that the hotel was booked up but they would provide an extra bed for the room. This extra bed can only be described as a camp bed with a metal frame and not much more, the most uncomfortable bed I have ever had the misfortune to sleep in. A terrible night with little sleep and still had to pay the full price for the privilege, disgraceful.

Good location and excellent value for a Sunday stay. Breakfast really good and staff very efficient. As with most London hotels, the beer is too flat.

The food in the restaurant for evening meal and breakfast were excellent. Also the location of train station / bus stops to the hotel are within easy walking distance. Free parking is also a bonus. I have stayed in this particular hotel before and have no previous problems and had recommended it to friends. However on this occassion when booking in was told there were no twin rooms available even though I had requested it at the time of booking. We were told that a request wasn't a guarantee of getting the room we wanted. The staff offered us a twin room eventually after refusing a double with a z-bed. Secondly we reserved a table in the restaurant which we were told last orders were at 9.45pm.We arrived 30 mins early( 9pm) for our meal. When asking for the dessert menu were told the kitchen had already closed even though we had mentioned we wanted a dessert when ordering our main meal. The half board meal should have been two courses. Even though the staff offered us alternatives we were disappointed with the problems we had for just one nights stay..

Excellent location and good car parking facilities (free!) Friendly and very helpful staff. Would stay there again. Our room had the smallest double bed I have ever slept in. Next time I will ask for two singles or upgrade to one of thier speciality rooms.

The hotel is just a 5 minute walk to the main shopping areas and if you did not fancy the food that was served in the bar, there were plenty of options within a few steps of the hotels doors. We found the staff polite and although there were non - english staff working, we had no problems understanding their level of the language.

Personnel very kind. Bar/restaurant very pleasant. Good position to visit London. Parking excellent. The heating/conditioning system is performed by a fan ventilation system which is very noisy and prevent to be used during the sleepping time.

Wonderful hotel, very cozy and excellent standard. I was stuck there during the pre-Christmas weather chaos at Heathrow, and ended up staying there longer than I had initially booked. The staff were very helpful and made the unintended stay as pleasant as possible.

Excellent location with secure parking. Easy to get into the city but also good shops locally. Plenty to see and do within easy walking distance or short car journey. Would have preferred King size bed instead of Queen but room very clean and provided everything we needed, even an iron and ironing board! Well done White Hart we will definitely be coming again in the spring.

It's location, right on the edge of Kingston town is fantastic, yet inside the hotel it was very quiet with excellent facilities and rooms. The table that we had breakfast on should have sat four people but it was a bit of a squeeze and we had to keep using the window ledge to put things on.
