Very comfortable and well appointed accommodation. Staff were very helpful in meeting our need for walk-in shower by putting us in room with disabled facilities. Very popular restaurant, full on both Friday and Saturday nights, but they reserved a table for us without being asked.

Spacious, clean, modern rooms with friendly staff and tasty meals. We liked the fact that the rooms were in an annexe - so it felt like we had our own front door. Lovely to be able to sit outside our room on a lawned area & read the papers [provided by the hotel] in the sunshine.

If you're wanting the Ritz, then don't go here, but if you want a very nice village inn that has been adapted for visitors you will be well suited. The accommodation has been very well converted from a stable block and is comfortable and quiet. We appreciated the internet connection availability and the large soap/shampoo dispensers in the bathroom. The breakfasts were well cooked by the owner and the dinners were good old English pub grub - and plenty of it. I would recommend this inn to anyone and feel confirdent they would enjoy it as much as we did.

Enjoyed the weekend stay.Meals were very good and staff very friendly.Only minor problem was the emergency light in the room was so bright we couldn't sleep so had to buy sleeping masks to get to sleep the next night.Location is good, easy access from A14 and a short drive to Bury St. Edmunds.Would definitely stay there again.

Excellent affordable accommodation in a lovely stable block conversion; very well presented and immaculately cleaned daily. High standard of bathroom with both bath and shower facilities. Very convenient location for exploring Suffolk villages and Suffolk towns Bury St Edmunds and Ipswich. Popular restaurant at The White Horse with the locals so well worth booking a table. A lovely place to stay again while visiting family in the area.

Having notified the hotel of our late arrival we finally arrived to find a table already booked for us in case we wanted a meal, excllent touch and made us feel so welcome. Staff have a very good sense of humour and room very comfortable. Would stay there again. Very good location, and VFM, for exploring the area.

I was staying at the Inn on my own. I felt reassured that should I have had any problems the staff would be there to help - there was a telephone in the room to contact them in an emergency. The room and bathroom were immaculately clean, and the pub food was very tasty. A very relaxed business trip.
