The White Horse (白马酒店)

Room was very clean and nicely decorated, bed was comfortable, the tea and coffee making facility's were more than adequate. The pub itself is a typical old English Inn with beams and exposed brickwork, there's even a covered well in the entrance corridor. Lots of choice at breakfast, the cooked food was really nice. We ate in the restaurant on both nights of our stay, the menu is comprehensive and there are 2 specials boards, 1 fish and 1 meat. The food was well presented and perfectly cooked.

not being able to open the window (too high up) but fine once we asked for the pole the bed the duvet was too small for the bed

the bedrooms in the converted barn were excellent- very clean, comfortable and modern. The breakfast was fantastic - great choice - cooked to order/ staff were lovely too.

The pub needs updating and not as clean as the accomodation. The grounds need to be maintained - fences need painting and looked a little shabby from the outside

Both my wife & myself greatly enjoyed our stay at the White Horse. the room was excellent, quiet & very well serviced. The food in the restaurant was of a good standard & reasonably priced & the service good and the staff very friendly.

We were very pleased with our stay at The White Horse. First class establishment. The only disappointment were the beds. We had a twin room and both beds were really hard. Cleanliness and food were second to none.

So sorry. The only complaint were the beds. They were extremely uncomfortable.

Clean and well presented room. Fluffy pillows and a warm duvet. All I could ask for!

Great room, quiet and well equipped. Super breakfast and helpful staff. As a lady travelling on business I have used the White Horse before and it is ideal.

We had a wonderful stay at The White Horse. The room was lovely, the staff were very pleasant, the food was excellent and the room price was very good. Well done....look forward to repeat the experience next year.

Good location near major road but in lovely village. Proprietor and staff were very welcoming and couldn't have been more helpful. Room a good size, clean and comfortable. Food excellent. Would recommend to others visiting the area.

The rooms were comfortable and very clean. We dined in the pub and the food was very nice and very reasonable. We took my parents for their 50th Wedding Anniversary my dad has been ill this year and this was just the treat to speed up his recovery.

Convenient, friendly, good value.

Bathroom extractor fan (room 4) was useless. Mattresses a bit too firm.

Clean & comfortable, friendly relaxed atmosphere. Attentative thorough staff. Good location. I thought the breakfast to be especially good. Evening meals menu offered a wide choice of food, my party enjoyed their meals.

It was lovely untill I opened the bed and found blood on one of the pillows and on the bottom sheet I was discussed I told the lady who took our money and we did get an appoligy but it has put us off staying again at the hotel Apart from that everything was good could not have been better Mr & Mrs D Browne

The accommodation was excellent and the staff very helpful and friendly. It was very good value for money and i would recommend it to anyone.
