Some nice extras, good welcome, well appointed

Difficult to find, set back from the main road

Warm welcome, clean comfortable room, excellent breakfast. Owners provided information about local events and even printed off details for us.

The owners were very friendly & accomodating. The food was excellent. The rooms were spacious,clean and nicely decorated. We were not restricted to times of coming and going. Overall brillant, would definately stay again.

There was nothing to not like about this guest house.

The friendliness of Sandra & Robert. They actually had time for there guests. They spent time to sit and chat.

Hotel's runners are incredibly nice people! Breakfast was amasing! Location is near Steem Train Rail Way (at the station) and hotel has a lot of old pictures and information about this historical place - very interesting!!

The hotel is a little old fashioned and dusty (my children have allergy to the dust)

Everything was excellent.

Breakfast was very good, we enjoyed the sausages. It was very quiet and we had a good nights sleep. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were a good quality. Sandra was friendly. The location is a short drive from Brixham and we enjoyed a lovely seaside walk which was recomended when we arrived. We found the guest house easily, right beside the steam railway station.

The guest house was a bit tired, Our room had everything that we needed but the decor was dated and the curtains were dusty. The shower could be more powerful but it was adequate.

The location-just outside Brixham,next to a steam railway station,with a good restaurant nearby which we could walk to.

It was central to the area we were visiting , and being set back from the main road it was quiet which made for a relaxing stay.

not easy to locate on first arrival, because of its settings, and lack of signage to its location from the main road.

Rob and Sandra were very welcoming and great hosts. Top Breakfast too.We needed a two room "suite" for our two young children and another room for the parents so this was perfect. The hotel is ideally situated right next to an old steam railway (dont worry trains do not run too early or late). The train is perfect to get to Dartmouth (with ferry crossing at end of platform). You can also go to Paignton (and the zoo) at the other. Or very quick bus/drive into Brixham. The pub next door does amazing food, be warned, you need to book yourself in it is that popular (we got lucky we had a cancellation). I am used to staying in very plush sterile hotels (through work) but this was a much warmer affair with most of the same facilities (even a nice little bar).

Showers could be more powerful!

It was very relaxing with no rush to do anything.

The car park is a bit small so you had to be careful manovering into a space.

We had a wonderful stay . The hotel was clean and the bed was very comfortable , the owners were friendly and the breakfast was wonderful . A most enjoyable steu I would certainly recommend .

Helpful and friendly host. Great access to Dartmouth steamtrain. Secure parking.

We arrived in some pain but were soon put completely at our ease by mine host. Throughout our stay we were very well treated as guests and not just "customers". The breakfasts were excellent. Well done, you deserve to be full all season and out.

I might have liked a bath. There was only a (good) shower in our en suite. However we did not ask for one and might have been offered facilities if we had asked during our stay.

Location cleanliness very friendly staff beautiful food and staff very good with kids, Lovely big garden for kids to play, highly recommend THE WHITE HORSE.
