It was great for getting into Brighton as we are both over 60 and with bus stop outside the hotel and buses every 10 mins. Its also quite and you can walk along the sea front in about 45mins it is also flat and away from the traffic. The hotel does a good breakfast and as full menu if you wont to eat at hotel, we enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

this visit was excellent for friendly and helpful staff and good food. it was close to our visit to Saltdean to empty a relatives house and we shall br returning. An agreeable improvement on our last visit several years ago under different management. we would have liked a lift as we are pensioners, but the strong staff were very helpful. The room was sometimes cold due to the heating being on a limited thermostat

Super location. Quite well appointed premises. Very friendly and helpful staff. Sea view from balcony of bedroom. No lift. Nobody seemed to clean the bathroom during our two day stay. Only one small shower gel container between two people and not even replaced when used. Luckily we had our own supply.

My daughter and I were having a girlie week-end away and also taking the opportunity to visit my family who live in Brighton. Our room was very nice, beds very comfortable and we had a lovely en-suite room. Food was good and we were made most welcome, so all in all we had a great time. Thank you very much to all the staff there. There were only little things we found a little annoying; like the bathroom window that we couldn't open at all, the key to the door was hard to get out of the lock and the time for breakfast quite a short window I felt as we were trying to have a relaxing weekend.

Great water pressure in the shower! I wanted a single room but the site only offered me a Double - the Hotel was all but empty and could surely have reflected the lower cost to them of providing only one breakfast, rathet than two? Unfortunately the great water pressure in the shower meant I could only shower while wearing the showeer curtain as a wrap-around! The toilet cistern ran all night long.

We have stayed at this hotel before and we think it is an ideal base from which to do some sightseeing in and around the Sussex area. There is easy access to Brighton either by foot or by public transport. We found the hotel and its staff friendly and welcolming and we hope to use the hotel again in the future.

Nice single room at front of hotel with balcony overlooking the sea. Table and 2 chairs on balcony so able to sit outside.Fairly quiet position outside Brighton with bus stop directly outside hotel so easy access into town. Very handy when delivering son to University Halls in Falmer! Quirky Thai restaurant opposite serves great food. Unable to watch the tv in the room as picture rubbish. No toiletries provided. Refurb going on at present which is well overdue!

Staff were very helpfull and friendly. Two forgotten items were sent back to me very promptly. The breakfasts were very good. We had a room with shower over bath ,this was not so safe for older people,Shower only would be much better for most people these days.
