The B&B accommodation was comfortable The food in the restaurants was very disappointing it was well below the standard expected in this type of hotel.The menus did not reflect local seasonal availability. Some fish dishes were very poorly prepared. The inadequacies of the meals spoiled the enjoyment of the stay,I was travelling with my daughter to visit an elderly relative in poor health we needed trouble free accommodation. |

Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Stairlift broken. Stairs to room, lots of up and down. Dog hair all over the carpet in room. Hard to open door properly as the bed was in the way. General standard of room not compatible to the cost. Expensive for the facilities. |

Very friendly staff (unusually friendly), the room was nice and the breakfast was good. Plenty of parking outside and Aldeburgh was as delightful as ever. |

Excellant food and the staff were very accomodating and friendly. Very comfy beds too. The stairs! A lift would have been nice and we were only on the first floor |

Location was good for the wedding we attended in Aldeburgh. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Overall condition of hotel was poor, entire place had a musty smell to it and felt more like a residential care home. Rooms and bathrooms are in need of refurbishment and do not justify the rates charged by the hotel, poor value for money. |

the location was good and the hotel was clean. staff were generally helpful. breakfast was very good. i found it lacking warmth and old fashioned in it's appearance when it could have been more historical/period given it's age |

Location and sea view After paying £150 per night I found that not to have a telephone or remote control for the television a bit anoying |

the location and view from the room were fantastic the hotel was expensive given the quality of the rooms, decor, service etc. The resturant was lovely but inconsistent (we had some excellent meals and some dreadful ones) |

Dining room and bar were lovely I left feedback for the hotel that the first impression wasn't good. The reception area smells a bit musty and the first thing you see is the stair lift. I know that having a stair lift is important - but could they not install a lift? Just the sight of it coupled with the smell made it feel a bit like an old people's home. Apart from that it was lovely. |

The Sea view was fantastic on the Sunday morning. The reception staff were excellent. The food was excellent. The room/bathroom could do with a bit of modernisation. The double bed was 2 single mattresses put together so was not entirely comfortable. There was no fridge or mini bar or iron facility in the room although the receptionist found an iron to use. |
