Food was excellent. 1. Disappointed that newspaper was requested on each of the 3 days, but none arrived. 2. Extremely surprised that a TV set was brought in to the bar - at the request of a non-resident - and tuned to a football match. I do not feel this is appropriate for a hotel of this character. |

I really loved the location. Staff were thoroughly professional and polite. I thought for the price of the rooms (for me £102 per night) that the hotel needs an overhaul. The decor of the rooms and hallways is very dated, but not quite shabby. I feel tis was not accurately reflected in the price of the room. It was very clean though. |

Excellent breakfasts/ Pleasant location/ pleasant, helpful staff. Stair lift out of order making elderly access to first floor difficult. Shower over bath difficult/dangerous to negotiate for elderly. Some updating needed. |

It was next to the seaside!!!! It is not exactly a complaint but the hot water was extemely hot,it was scalding.Great for adults but for the elderly or children it could be dangerous.It nearly burnt me and I was in Catering all my life so I am used to handling hot plates etc!!!. |
