Bathroom fan really dirty room 311 and very dusty beams. 311 also had no Wifi connection.

I've been staying here over a period of 40 years and this time was the best experience. Staff very friendly helpful and prompt service. It is most convenient and central for Bala centre and family meetings. Food range, beer choices all good.

Room 307 - some furnishings a little dated but good to have en-suite.

Rooms were clean and tidy.

Single room was small and uncomfortable as risk of hitting your head when getting up in the night to go to the toilet. . Not sufficient parking spaces.

Nice comfortable hotel at a very reasonable price. Very comfortable bar which served good food.

Very nice and helpful staff, great breakfast (and vegetarian friendly if needed). Located in centre of Bala and a 5/10 minute drive from White Water Rafting Centre. Spacious and clean room and good powerful shower.

We had a nice big bedroom and bathroom. The hotel was warm. The breakfasts were very good and food in the bar was excellent value. The staff were very nice and helpful. It was lovely to have a comfortable sitting area as well as a bar.

Pillows were a bit hard.

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Hotel was ideally located at centre of Bala in walking distance of the lake. Room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. I would definitely come back again.

Extremely friendly staff and excellent room and building

Stayed in a family room with a 4 year old and 2 year old. Forgot our portable bed for the little one but hotel provided a travel cot. Room was spacious and clean, good bathroom and beds. Food in the restaurant was alright, ditto breakfast. I'd happily stay again.

Thermostat on radiator was broken, room was very hot until I turned the radiator off at the other end. Room was on 3rd floor, a decent climb with no lift. Minor irritations.

Friendly, efficient staff. Comfortable room. Nice friendly atmosphere. Good menu. Good food.

3" of snow the next morning. Not expecting to find 'en-suite' actually in the room.

The food was excellent, friendly atmosphere. Lovely log fire in the bar. Very good breakfast too.

No lifts, but as its an old building that's to be expected.

We re-visited our wedding day (1966) hotel! Good memories. Good bedroom with four-poster bed. Staff are friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfasts.

Proximiity to 'pizzaria' with noise and obscenity until 3.00am. Having breathing difficulties and being on the third floor without a lift! Numbers of simple food items not available - eg Sticky Toffee Pudding, choriso.
