The hotel was wonderful and the staff couldn't do enough for my daughter and myself, they went out of their way to provide my daughter with a cooked breakfast 1hr before they were due to open as she had to be at work very early. The hotel is in an ideal location to explore hastings.I have booked to stay again soon I had a lovely sea view room but did smell a bit of sweat/smusty at first. |

I really liked this hotel, very friendly staff, delicious restaurant, very comfortable large rooms, clean. Had a very lovely stay. Although it is directly opposite the beach, some people might find it a bit far from the historic part of town and the old castle. |

I particularly liked the friendly helpful management and staff and the attractive rooms. The restaurant and bar offers a good choice of food and wine and is also attractive and comfortable. The terrace where you can have a drink overlooking the sea is another good point. The general impression is a hotel run by a professional friendly team and decorated with good taste. |

Good location, sea view, easy walk into old town only 5 minutes. Staff were very pleasent and helpful on reception and at breakfast. I thought price was expensive for the quality of hotel which I would rate as 1-2 star. Very hot in the rooms and noisey on sea front. Rooms had been modernised by adding modern furnishings and bath fittings however room was in need of re-decoration. Car park was generally full and only metered parking in area. Overall score for w/e stay = 4/10 |

The hotel was very clean and very good value for money. The room was nice and the bed very comfortable. The full Agnes breakfast was also very good value for money and one of the best breakfasts I've had as long time. The lift was very small and the corridors were a little narrow but other than that it was fine |

The leisure areas were very well designed and comfortable. The quality of the meals and service was superb. Narrow passageways but then this is to be expected in a hotel of this age. The design of the bar/restaurant areas was very very nice and complemented by the background music. Wonderful. |

The room I stayed in was large and clean with a comfortable bed. Lots of TV channels to choose from. This is almost a nice hotel but the quality doesn't quite match up to the cost. The breakfast isn't included in the room rate so is an extra cost; breakfast service was chaotic on the busy days and we waited over half an hour for a coffee. Personally I would have preferred a radio to all the TV channels and some bath salts wouldn't have gone a miss given the the large luxury bath in the room. I got an early wake up call on saturday morning fron the cleaner wanting to get in to the room, I had planned to sleep late and was not happy. Staff are friendly and very helpful but the overall atmosphere is a little too much on the informal side. With a few tweeks this will be a very nice place to stay. |

It was ok. Reception staff were helpful and family atmosphere good. Very pet-friendly. A bit far from the interesting part of town. Under sheet on bed never pulled up in 5 days. Breakfast not included in price and chaotic service- we got different things from those ordered.. Had to wait half an hour on last day and gave up. Nowhere to put jumpers, tops etc so had to keep in case. We did get a sea view but had to stand up to see it. Overpriced for what it offers. |

Very friendly staff - lovely well designed room and large bathroom. Particularly nice outside terrace and inside lounge and bar areas. Would have liked a bit more sea view but the option is available by booking a different room. |
