Just 2 minutes’ walk from Penzance Harbour, Whiteways Guest House has colourful bedrooms with en suite facilities. Offering generous cooked breakfasts, Whiteways is 150 metres from Wharfside Shopping Centre. The cosy bedrooms feature bright linens and large windows, and all offer free toiletries and tea and coffee facilities. Rooms at Whiteways Guest House also have hairdryers and ironing facilities available. Traditional full English breakfasts featuring local produce are served daily in the breakfast room, with vegetarian and lighter fresh options also available. There are a number of international restaurants just a short walk away. Located just 50 metres from Penzance Coach and Railway Station, The Whiteways is only a 10-minute walk from Penzance Ferry Terminal. As several reviewers have said the hotel is dull and tired looking and the rooms are small. However, the beds are comfortable, the en suite bathrooms in full working order and the breakfasts excellent. If you arrive by train as we did the location right next to both the train and bus station is perfect. At only £27 for bed and breakfast in a single room it has to be the best value in Penzance. I would certainly use it again. Ok, so we were four blokes away for a boozy weekend, and if we had been with our wives we would have paid a bit more for something better. You pay your money and take your choice.

Upon entering was disappointed with the standard, bedding was clean but mould in shower wouldn't have wanted to stay more than one night. Very convenient for railway station.

Whiteways was very good value for money, the perect location as we travelled by train and it was only 2 mins from the station,it was also within easy walking distance of shops,bars,resturants and the habour. The short train journey to St Ives was lovely as it went right along the coast.The landlady was very friendly and helpful,the breakfast was first class and the bed was really comfortable. For us it was the perfect place for a long weekend.

Nice stay at this friendly traditional b&B. Not the top end in luxury, but pleasant staff, clean room and a very good breakfast. My only criticism was that the shower temperature was extremely difficult to regulate.

The guest house was, for my purposes, ideally situated in Penzance, being directly opposite the railway station, and also close to the town centre shops in one direction and the heliport in the other. The breakfast was very good. My room was rather small, and because it faced a busy road, quite noisy at night.

Breakfast was good and owner was nice. The pub up the road the Longboat served good food. It's a bit out of town and didnt have parking but we were able to park across the road because we arrived outside the warden time. As UK prices go (which are expensive), it was ok, but a very basic accommodation.

The location ,close to the train station and reasonably close to the ferry port. At 29 GBP it was acceptable for just staying the night to catch the ferry in the morning. Room and Bath was clean, no probs. Everything was a bit run down. upgradings and modifications were done in DIY style. Very poor mattresses. The single room was pretty small but acceptable.Acceptable for 1 night, but would not recommend it for longer stays.

As my friend and I had just finished cycling from John O Groats to Lands End we found the location was perfect, just a few minutes walk to the shops, pubs and cafes, also few minutes to the harbour and just across the road to the rail station. The staff were very helpful with storeing our bikes. The breakfast was perfect.

Whiteway Guest House har ett bra pris och helt ok standard för priset Det ligger "om hörnet" från Railway och Bus station. Trots det inte trafikstört. Smidigt att nå, när man reser vidare och man har bussförbindelser åt alla tänkbara håll i Cornwall från Penzance.Vackert vid Marazion ochSt Michaels Mount.

It was ok for one night but a bit shabby and wouldn't have like to stay for a period of time. There was no way of contacting the owners out of hours and the burglar alarm was faulty and beeping loudly on the landing. Felt wierd that no contact number was left for us. The whole place smelled of very old chip fat.
