It was the worst hotel I have ever stopped in.How they dare describe it as bed and breakfast is beyond me should say springs and breakfast. The mattress was just a load of springs covered by thin material. Can't comment on the breakfast as was in to much pain to eat. .

Was an extremely friendly atmosphere but still allowed for privacy as it wasn't over the top. The cooked breakfast was very nice and the overall comfort of the weekend was just right.

The location was very good and the lady that owns it was quite friendly. I would class the breakfast as average because the quality was ok but the quantity was poor. Who gives you a choice of fruit juice or cerials these days? And who would dream of charging you an extra 5p per cup of tea or coffee if you require more than has been placed in your room? That is just pathetic. I don't think I have ever stayed in a hotel in all my life that would charge you £1 if you want an extra bath towel. This place was not what I would class as a "Hotel", it was nothing more than a guesthouse. The beds must be the cheapest that money can buy and I can honestly say that I have never slept in a bed that was so uncomfortable. The springs in the mattress were absolutely shot and need replacing. The general standard of the room was very dated at best, I am not saying that it was not clean, but you expect better these days. I can honestly say that I would not dream of ever staying at this "hotel" again.
