the staff were very helpful and the pool and spa were very good
the room as very cold and the heater did not work. on booking I told them it was my wife's birthday but nothing special was done about it . It was a disappointment as she was looking forwards to it after I had told her.
Very good night staff. They were very helpful and accommodating. We were upgraded as it was my partner's birthday.
The room were freezing cold and the bed wasn't a double bed it was two twins pushed together. I had to asked to move rooms due to this.
parking set up noise through the walls price lift broken travel lodge feel
Food was excellent and the SPA was very nice (once I had paid a further £60 to get into it)
When I booked it showed pictures of the SPA facilities but didn't know there was a distinction between spa access and leisure access as there was no option available to distinguish - we were amongst a number of guests to have the same experience. On check in, we were told that this was not included and had to pay an additional £60 to get in - very distressing as we were first told it was full. In addition, the upgraded room was dated. Frayed divan bed with a mattress that fell 10inches over the edge at either side as it was too big for the bed. Feel we we're mislead and taken advantage of. Another couple only paid £30 for the SPA so feel ripped off.
good size room, food was great and all in walking distance to silverstone circuit without camping!
Relaxing, love the pool, steam room, sauna, hot tubs and.bubbles . Hotel clean and staff all polite.
Breakfast had to wait ages for a second cup of tea , seems you were only allowed one . Waitress collected plate too early .
The room was very spacious, well equipped and comfortable and the leisure facilities were excellent.
Had to wait for a while for our room to be ready despite having arrived early and started check in in advance but the quality of room made up for it.
That I only had to endure the place for one night
I had the misfortune to stay in Room 333. The function room below me had a loud function on, which did not finish until 12.45 am. It was so loud it was rattling the fixtures in my room. I wrote to complain in real time (as there was no phone in the room and no answer at main switchboard, demanding my money back. I've not so much as had an acknowledgement. I would not wish this hotel on my worst enemy. DO NOT GO THERE IF YOU WANT TO SLEEP!!!
The hotel was beautiful, the staff were really helpful and the facilities were excellent
Leaving to go home
The entire experience was ruined by poor staff, dirty facilities and food poisoning. I wouldn't recommend it at all 0 stars
Location in relation to Siverstone. Quality of food good
Noisey hen parties . Went on until 3.00am. Arrangement of tables in Aston resteraunt - more like school dinners.
Good parking, large room good wifi good breakfast
Bar felt more like a large pub Not cosy Breakfast only started at 7am Duvet too hot / heavy for room temp
OVER PRICED SMALL ROOMS POOR STAFF SERVICE
Location perfect for event
Noisy room Charged £30 more than should have been Check in unavailable until post 3pm was inconvenient
A large number of the rooms located around VERY LOUD air conditioning extractors, for the money hope you don't get one!
It was all a bout grand prix outside lovely and location nice and quiet
Room was not worth the money small had bad smell. Food was poor options and quantity poor
If you want a Stag "pursuits" or Pampered Hen weekend and don't want to travel to Blackpool or Newcastle, then it is probably an option.
It's not a historic hall, not a tranquil or peaceful relaxation venue, the dining is more exhibition hall/beer tent layout and our 1st floor "Garden View" was an asphalt roof and fire escape. Staff at the desk were un-skilled, we checked out and found a more suitable option.
the spa the staff
no air con in bedrooms poor decor cracks in walls
All staff were very helpful Location to Silverstone.
Room 105. Bath panel hanging off. Toilet stained, obviously not had any bleach or scrubbing for ages. Moulding missing on sink panel. Tables in dining bar wiped but not clean. After unsticking my arms from table I cleaned it myself with wine chiller cloth.( All other tables in bar the same. I checked) Wine came in a plastic chiller made for a motorway service area. The water also came in a plastic jug that I would not fill my dogs bowl with. The food in the bar was acceptable. Breakfast was served in a windowless dungeon (This on a beautiful summers day!) Self service food but poor quality. No air con in room just a large free standing fan which stirred the air but kept us awake. Now the worst bit! My wife had a bath, and on getting out of the bath onto the mat provided, slipped full length onto the floor, badly bruising her arm and hip on adjacent toilet pottery. The floor tiles have no anti-slip surface. How they get away with that in 2014 is beyond me. This room is obviously one that is reserved for clients booking via the internet. Next time I will book Premier Inn, Travel Lodge,or similar and get better standards and better value. It goes without saying that we checked out next day curtailing our stay. Very Poor
boiling hot room!
Next to Silverstone circuit
We were put in a double room for single occupancy, as we only had one set of towels. The room was small & very hot with only a fan for comfort! My girlfriend was poorly through the night as there appears to have been gluten in one of the dishes, even though we gave the hotel plenty of notice.
Beautiful countryside, looked great from outside.
Rude manager on reception the night i checked in. My Bathroom sink had what I can describe as a raw sewage smell coming up through the plug hole. Cracked bathroom sink and towels were well worn.
Quick check in and out.
My allocated room was on the 1st floor directly above the bar area which was very noisy until around 11:45pm Just outside the window below my room was area designated for Smokers who added to the noise issue. No thought for others!
Excellent service all round, All staff attentive, but discreet. Very clean & comfortable. Good food
Nothing, although no seat in the garden, but one was soon brought out to me.
Very helpful and friendly staff Comfortable room with excellent facilities Very good breakfast
Bar food not very well cooked
