This hotel offers the customer an excellent location at really affordable prices. Despite its central location, noise pollution wasn't a factor, allowing for a quiet and relaxing stay, which was especially appreciated during mid morning sleep ins'. Staff were also friendly and efficient. If I had to nitpick I would say that I would like to see breakfast served a little later than 9:30.

Don't bother if you want any sleep ! I was in a room which had a glass panel over the door , and directly outside there was a really bright fire assistance light. (Normally they are low lighting). Bascially it was far too bright to sleep , so bright in fact that I could take a photo without a flash in my room. I guess I wouldn't be writing this review if the managment had acknowledged my complaint (bascially I had paid up front so didn't stand a chance of getting any refund), I wrote twice once leaving a note at the hotel and once post the experience on their email address. So thumbs down for this one folks!!

Great location for sight seeing and shopping. Good tea and coffee making facilities. Staff were polite and courteous. Suitable for children. Creaky floorboards, could hear the people above us moving about

I remained satisfied with the choice made, by the courtesy of staff and the excellent breakfast (of course in view of the hotel category). A nice big room, comfortable beds and a bathroom clean and functional, as we were in 4 (family with two teenagers)! I highly recommend for a vacation of 3/4 days!

Very good location at affordable price in central London. Not top quality rooms however I was only on the room for a short period of time so it was more than adequate.

I had a quiet room on the top floor. No problem with the temperature in the room or with the warm water. I got a tasteful English breakfast. Very close to Osford street and all the shops. I'll recommend this hotel. It was really worth the price. It was a bit hard with no elevator and the stairs to the 4th floor.

For £125 this represented very poor value for money. The room was dingy, the carpet was very poor, obviously cleaned into oblivion and still with dirty patches and not properly fitted. One radiator in the room did not work..although this was denied by reception. There was a portable oil heater in the room which we did not realise until the morning. So we were cold at night. Never again. I use booking . com a lot and have not been disappointed before. This should be downgraded, or offered at a lower price. Breakfast was better than the room. Essentially this was a room in a samll shabby guest house and not a hotel. Horrid......

Great location close to shops and tube. Restaurants close by and bedrooms large with an Edwardian feel to them. Good breakfast and a good nights sleep. It had a b&b feel about it and could do with updating. However, for the money and based on midweek prices, it wasn't bad value!

The hotel was extremely loud due to "paper walls" and the rooms were extremely small but 5 square meters is ok for 1 night when you are tired from the shopping and only want to sleep.. But the wind was blowing through the hotel and the doors were squrkreking all the night so I wasnt able to have a rest enough.. One good point for this hotel is due to location. Hotel is located only 4 mins from Oxford street (Primark) whats absolutely great for me. No more..

It was in the right location for us that weekend Althuogh in the Mayfair district, the building is 250 years old and in need of tlc. The inside has been extensively modified to try to improve quantity and access to rooms and facilities etc, which means odd and quaint internal passages and stairs etc. Plumbing is bearly ok.
