Warm welcome. Excellent suite with luxury bedding/ furniture/ toiletries. Exceptional choice for breakfast for every taste/ appetite. Fabulously grand building adapted well for a boutique hotel feel. Plenty of parking on site. Located just out of town, perfect to explore the area.

Wildercombe House is a Victorian former Gentleman's residence built in 1885, located in an elevated position with views towards Ilfracombe, the sea, and surrounding countryside. Fully renovated, retaining original features, Wildercombe House offers guest accommodation with 12 en-suite rooms, decorated with a modern, contemporary, twist. All rooms have complimentary toiletries, tea/coffee making facilities, and a fridge. The lift provides access to all floors, and we have free on-site parking and Wi-Fi throughout. Our large breakfast room has views towards the Welsh coastline and countryside, where you can enjoy a full English breakfast or other cooked options, with vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free alternatives, along with a full complement of continental choices too.
Wildercombe House is a family-run business, owned by Anne-Marie and Barry Marsh. We, and our staff, will ensure that your stay with us is as perfect as can be, enabling you to rest, relax, and enjoy all that North Devon has to offer. We pride ourselves on offering a professional and friendly service, quality food, and personal attention to your needs if required.
Wildercombe House is an ideal base for exploring the North Devon countryside, its beautiful coastline, local beaches, historic sites and Exmoor National Park. You will have the opportunity to swim, surf or sunbathe, take beautiful walks and bicycle rides, or perhaps experience a fishing trip from Ilfracombe harbour or a visit to Lundy Island. Ilfracombe has a wonderful variety of restaurants, offering local cuisine, including fresh fish brought in to the harbour, and Exmoor beef.
