Wildhaven Cottage is a large cottage, 7 miles south of Inverness with striking views across the highlands. Set on a smallholding and offering free range eggs from their hens, as well as free on-site parking and free Wi-Fi. Guests will arrive to a modern fitted kitchen featuring views of the duck pond, a slow cooker, a microwave and a cafietiere. The spacious lounge includes an electric stove-effect fire, an LCD TV and picturesque rural views out of the large windows. Wildhaven Cottage also features countryside views from the double bedroom as well as a bathroom with large shower and a heated towel rail. Ourtside there is a rotary clothes dryer and garden furniture. Kitchen and bathroom supplies are also provided. The nearest major road is the A9, just over 2 miles from the cottage. Loch Ness, famed for the supposed sittings of the Loch Ness Monster, is less than a 25-minute drive away. Fairways Golf Course is just over 6 miles from the cottage. Wildhaven was a great find, out of the way place quite comfortable friendly place. We had a little difficulty finding it, though one of the locals put us on the right track. Our host said she would make sure it is more clearer on the website. We were meet with a big smile late at night. We had no food and the local shop was closed though this was not a problem as the host was more than happy to give us what she could from her own pantery. We stayed two nights and explored the surrounding area though if there were not people staying the next night we probably have stayed longer. It is a little drive from the main town though I dont see this as a problem it has easy acces to the hwy and the price and comfort make up for it.

Accoglienza , cordialita' e ospitalita' ottimi. La sistemazione era un piccolo appartamento con cucina , soggiorno e camera. Grande spazio e con tutto il necessario a disposizione. Molto tranquillo , in mezzo alla natura. Tutto ok. Solo una segnalazione: l' ultimo chilometro per raggiungere il BB e' su strada sterrata, tenetene conto in caso di neve o maltempo , la diviazione per il BB dalla strada principale all' ultimo tratto di strada sterrata non e' segnalato.
