Disappointed with the choice of breakfast same choice every day Thought for the price it should have been better and fresh milk offer ed for rooms and biscuits Surprised cooked breakfast wasn't include d in price
Friendly hosts. Beautiful accommodation. Lovely setting on picturesque grounds.
There was nothing not to like, the room was execelent, the food brilliant, the owners so helpful, and the location well
that i couldn't stay longer
Very friendly, and homely plus good value for money
Just a little hard to find! Down a lane with a sign that was very difficult to see.
The decor - the hosts have an eye for making the rooms look good. Comfort, especially the bed! The silence - the house and the surroundings are very quiet. The hosts - they're very good at their job, very welcoming and helpful.
We'd not come across paying extra for a cooked breakfast before. We were perfectly happy with the continental that was included in the price. We had to supply our own herbal teas, as only tea and coffee were on the hospitality tray. They were available at breakfast, though. It might be hard to find, in the dark. It's fine in mid-summer.
Great hospitality and very helpful.
Very helpful owners in every way. relaxing environment.
Unsure about evening meals until the next day. Will know in future!.
Lovely setting in really tranquil countryside. Lovely part of Hampshire with many historical homes gardens and churches to visit. Facilities were first class and hosts were kindly and welcoming. Tony and Pamela - Devon
Having to leave!
Stayed with my husband and a 2 year old toddler. Location was excellent, about 10 minute drive to Poultons Park, with lovely views, we even had a curious pheasant outside our bedroom window. There's a free view TV with a DVD player. The owners are very friendly and helpful.
The whole place is beautifly decorated and fitted out with 1st class furniture. The hosts are fantastic.
We are a mature couple who are like more to green and privacy kind of area. Apparently Willow Bank House is the perfect place to spend the quality time in and out of the tremendous house. Thank you to Catherine and husband who are very approachable and made us feel like home. She took us a tour around the house besides informed us about the house, the facilities and the area in details. The room we got is incredible with the design of asian interior make it look so cozy and comfortable. As my partner and I love to watch movies, we were surprised to know that our room also are provided with dvd player with selections of movies of owner's collection. So I think I might bring some of my collections too as my partner and I are planning to come back and stay in Willow Bank House again in the future. 2 thumbs up!!
I would not say that I did not like it, I think its because of the location of Willow Bank House is away from the city which took us about 30 minutes going and came back from the city. However, since it is situated around the countryside, its gain a perfect area with the green view, silent and peaceful feeling especially in the morning.
So peaceful, bed was very comfortable, best nights sleep for a long time!
Very friendly staff. The room wasn't very big, but comfortable and the bathroom with bath was enormous. Great location, beautiful countryside and next to the New Forest. Very quiet.
Wifi signal didn't reach our room.
Friendly welcome, personal but not intrusive. Attractive decor and attention to detail, quality fittings in bathroom, bed linen etc, breakfast cooked to order. Only stayed one night but it was a very pleasant experience.
Maybe clearer signage from road, easy to miss at first.
The owners friendly and knowleageable on local eateries, routes. Room comfortable good shower.
Route map to find the place. ImpossiblE. Signage hidden. Drove past driveway twice before seeing sign. Also more detailed and clear map on website would be helpful. Breakfast was ok but not up to the luxury price. Compote very good.but expected greater selection of fresh fruit salad or pieces of fruit not a just a tiny bowl of pale melon. Would have liked to see a plain yogourt on offer. We were offered croissants but as nothing is on display one feels inhibited. Needed help with luggage but didn't like to ask.as an older guest one is not always as fit as one looks. However it was a pleasant stay over all.
Peaceful location and friendly owners.
Difficult to find even with a sat nav.
