We were visiting my son at fallowfield so the location was fantastic for that. It is right on the bus route so very convenient. The breakfast was excellent and the free bar a nice extra. The room could have been doing with a refurbishment - quite dated.

We were visiting our daughter at Owens park, so the location was ideal. We found the hotel clean and basically comfortable. The secure parking was a particular attraction. That said, we held on and got a good price in week of travel, down from £79 to £49. We would never have booked at the higher price, so were grateful for the price paid. The bed was quite hard and not that comfortable.

Friendliness of the staff The picture of the hotel room was deceiving to the real thing. The bed consisted of 2 mattresses that added discomfort

The bed was uncomfortable and gave me a bad back. The mattress has seen better days I think! The shower water surged back and forth.

Clean, efficient, friendly, excellent breakfast. The website didn't make it clear that the £5 charge for parking was an optional charge for secure parking, and that there was other parking available without charge.

It would be hard to pinpoint one particular thing. It was a last-minute, spur-of-the-moment decision on my part and I found the whole experience extremely pleasant and, more importantly relaxing. It was a first-time thing for me but one that I will certainly be repeating. Both Booking.com and the Hotel itself are top rate as far as i am concerned, and the hotel staff are just brilliant. Many thanks!

Everything was really good. Very convenient for visiting my daughter who is studying at Manchester Uni and lives in Fallowfield. Would definitely stay again. Also, easy to get to the city centre on the bus (and cheap).

Right next to bus stop straight into Manchester City centre in half an hour. Lots of bars nearby including a Nandos, Revolution, Wetherspoons. Hotel nice and modern, although room a bit dark but very clean. We parked to front of hotel adjacent to main road and had no problems with safety of car. Reception staff lovely as are the serving morning staff. Would stay here again although we thought slightly overpriced.

“We like its quiet location - can't believe how quiet it is, yet so near to a a busy main road and city centre. We could hear owls outside when we lay in bed at night! It's right on a bus route so no need to take our car into the city. It's in Rusholme, which is cosmopolitan and very interesting as a multi-cultural area, with different places to eat and shop. Luther King House is still a theological college for some of the week and we like its atmoshphere, it's very good theological library, and the chapel, as well as the friendly and helpful staff. It uses Fair Trade foods.” Katherine, Kirton-in-lindsey |
