We were visiting my son at fallowfield so the location was fantastic for that. It is right on the bus route so very convenient. The breakfast was excellent and the free bar a nice extra. The room could have been doing with a refurbishment - quite dated.

Two of us shared a room and one had a separate room. We walked out to find a place to eat out and were appalled at the disgusting state of the pavements nearby - so much broken glass. Back to bed at 10pm but our twin room o'looked Wetherspoons, where the swearing, shouting and general racket started and continued until daylight. Our friend was unable to sleep because her neighbour was playing 'heavy' music until 3am when the GM was called to stop it. The Police Crime Scene Investigation vehicle was at Wetherspoons when we left- VERY underslept. We won't choose this hotel again. Very unfortunate as we have used BW on previous occasions and found them well situated and very good. A real plus was the secure car park - wonderful! Hotel was clean and comfortable and food was good. The free drinks promotion was also very good. Provision of the full range of freeview tv channels would improve the tv in the room which was quite limited in channels.

My three sisters and myself had to go to Manchester for our Uncle's funeral and we stayed 2 nights at the Willowbank. Great helpful staff and enjoyed the three free drinks each evening. If we ever have to return to Manchester (providing the price is right) would gladly return to the Willowbank. The only downside of our stay at the Willowbank was that there was no lift and felt the menu was a bit limited.

Friendliness of staff and excellent location. Room well decorated and beds comfortable. However, room smelt musty and bathroom needed a deep clean. Problem with bedside lamps dealt with quickly and efficiently. Breakfast: excellent food and service. Up stairs to reception.

Good location, for a great price, with very secure parking for somewhere so central! Will defiantly stay there again in the future. Tv was connected to a faulty plug socket ( kept tripping whenever another plug was removed/put in to it's adjacent plug socket) which was more annoying than anything.

The reception staff were lovely. The rooms was compact but with everything we needed. Good sized bathroom with quite luxurious towels and mirrors that don't mist up after showering. The hotel itself looked nice and funky. Very pink in places. I think it was excellent value for money with good transport links to the city center. In fact the bus stop was right outside. The bathroom could have been a bit cleaner.

Location was very good for our visit Your wording for your offer of 3 drinks per person is very misleading and I found that your reception staff felt that it was I that was being rather stupid. I have travelled all over Australia and found Best Western motels very good indeed, offers were given to us by just saying we had stayed at other Best Western motels on our journeys around Australia no hidden agenda or just plain small print to cope with, it would seem that the Australians to my mind have it right!!!

The hotel was in an excellent location for visiting my daughter at univeristy the rooms were extremeley well kept with all facilities the hotel itself was very comfortable. We ate in the hotel on the Friday night the meal was very nice the dining facilities were very good. A perfect stay. If I had any criticsim it would only be that the stairs led to the reception and were rather steep for an elderly person

Decor in entrance modern and inviting. Free secure parking was a bonus. Staff were excellent and a porter showed us to our room which was a really nice touch. Room small-ish but comfortable - I'm 6ft 5" and the bed was long enough. Walk to rooms is a bit long if you're at the back. This is a deceptively large building. If you struggle to walk, choose somewhere else.

Great breakfast - and staff in restaurant very helpful and hard working. Not noisy and nice and clean. Overall comfortable stay. Room on small side and only standard double bed (4'6") a bit small.
