Willowbeck Lodge is situated in one of the most beautiful and spectacular locations in England. It is is within easy traveling distance of the Lake District National Park and World Heritage Site of Hadrian's Wall. At Willowbeck there are 4 rooms with private bathrooms, 2 of which are super-deluxe (larger with spacious bathroom including corner bathtub and separate shower) and they all overlook the lake. Each bedroom is comfortably furnished in contemporary style and has flat-screen TV, broadband connection, hairdryer and tea & coffee making facilities. Willowbeck Lodge doesn't only provide excellent residential accommodations. They are also happy to provide business clients with meeting and conference facilities in pleasant and discrete surroundings. One of the best b and Bs we have ever stayed at. Beautiful house in quiet location, with warm welcome and friendly atmosphere. Excellent breakfast and very comfortable rooms with quality furniture and fittings. Accommodating owners. Nothing too much trouble. Would highly recommend a stay at Willowbrook to others.

Our stay at Willowbeck Lodge was fab. On our arrival we were greeted by the proprieters john and liz who are a lovely accommodating couple. We were shown to our room which was lovely called the willow room ,which was of a good size with a very nice bathroom with corner bath and large shower. We were able to wander round the lodge at our leisure had quick look in all the rooms including lodge next door. The whole place is of a wonderful design, warm ,cosy and with loads of reading material and multiple dvds to choose from and wifi access. We had a lovely cup of tea in the very comfortable lounge with a cosy fire. The dinner in the evening was very tasty (we had the fillet steak), candelit table in lovely conservatory with timely servings. Both the hospitality and the accommodation was of first class standard and the lodge was immaculately clean. Would highly recommend to anyone and will definately go back there again and probably in the same room. There was nothing we didnt like :)

Excellent stop over for journeys to Scotland. Owners most hospitable. Room comfortable and well fitted with modern facilities. Spotlessly clean. Breakfast superb.

We stayed at Willowbeck Lodge for 2 nights over my 65th birthday weekend & I couldn't have chosen a better place. Beautiful house & location, wonderful hospitality, excellent food, friendly & very helpful proprietors & staff. There are regular buses to Wetheral, Carlisle & beyond. We hope to return one day and are already recommending it to friends. Cannot fault it.

It was in a very quiet location,only a few miles from carlisle.we had a beautiful apartment attached to the main house,but had breakfast in the main house which was excellent.the family, who attended to our every need were charming. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely stay there and would recommend it to our friends

We were more than pleased with our stay at Willoowebeck!!! The owners were more than gracious, the rooms were lovely, and Andrew , the owner's son went the extra mile for us..... All was more than we expected, lovely and we felt so at home. A little bit of Giverny in Carlisle....

We liked the very friendly and welcoming hosts, the spotlessy clean and well-appointed room. We liked the superb evening meal and the magnificent breakfast. In fact we liked everything about this hotel. Everything is of a very high standard and the atmosphere made us feel as if we were staying with friends.

John and Liz were very friendly, and upon arrival offered us a glass of wine. We went over to the Fantail restaurant and had an excellent meal. Breakfast the next morning was excellent- traditional English breakfast.
