We had a lovely clean & comfortable room, with nice views out the window. As it was a Wednesday, the local pub had a fabulous "two steaks & a bottle of wine for £25" offer.
Great location for races, super comfy bed, great host & breakfast!!
Felt at home here lovely lady was having stressful time with relatives in hospital but she still made time for us nothing seemed like too much trouble it was a great base
The breakfast was amazing. The 'blurb' says that everything is locally sourced, but it really is! It's far and away the best B & B breakfast I have had. Also, the hostess is really friendly, welcoming and flexible.
close to Chepstow nice view of fields and cows at the back welcoming hostess
noisy road, perilous access slippery shower sloping ceiling bumps head double bed was two singles with central ridge
Excellent, spacious, spotless room with everything we needed. Very comfortable Superking bed . Delicious breakfast with local produce.
On a busy road so a bit noisy in the front. The outside patio area is in front of a room so we didn't like to use it.
The shower was blocked with hair :-(
Friendly & Super helpful Hostess Sarah. Mahalo (thank you) for the extras! Lovely setting in a great location. Would highly recommend and hope to return.
Very warm welcome by the owner. A very pleasant and spacious room with good facilities.
The hotel is close to a fairly busy road but the double glazing helped to reduce the noise level.
Sarah was absolutely brilliant - really friendly and helpful. Room was lovely and clean. Small kitchen was great as we were here for a week. Wonderful views. We found something to do every day - we wouldn't have without the car though!
Small amount of road noise but not unbearable. Could hear the other rooms (especially upstairs) a lot which kept my partner up a bit for two nights. *none of this would stop us returning
Room was large & comfy.
Noise from traffic & slopping ceilings.
Sarah is the perfect hostess. So friendly and can't do enough for you. The rooms have everything that you could ask for. Loved it.
There was nothing. Would definitely stay here again
Room, breakfast, shower, landlady, views, location.
Busy road got noisy at times but it's a minor point.
They are best hosts. All was OK.
Just little bit of road noise.
Like the roominess and facilities. Very clean and with attention to detail. Breakfast very good too.
Bed against the eave so difficult to sit up in bed against a sloping wall. Just my idiosyncrasy.
Sarah very friendly. Helpful. Good location
Friendliness & kindness of the owner. Large room. Good facilities including bottled water in the fridge. The room was very clean and the morning breakfast was very tasty. Altogether a good place to stay particuklarly if you want to get to the Golf Course or Horseracing in Chepstow.
The only minor thing was that my room was in the front of the Guesthouse on a semi-main road & it was a little noisy.
Everything,very pleasant stay
Wished we could have stayed longer
The owner is extremely welcoming and could not be more helpful.
Owners were lovely and couldn't have been more personable or helpful. Loved the breakfasts.
Shame about the proximity to the main road because it was a bit noisy. Couldn't fault the view out the back though. Also with the only Pub in the village closed for a refurb at the time it was a bit of a long leg to go anywhere else.
Breakfast (not included) but brilliant. Friendly place and hostess.
Wet room seemed a bit inclined to leak into the room! Not bad enough to be a problem though.
Fantastic host, nothing was to much trouble.
Sarah is very nice and helpful, the location in the countryside, cleanliness, excellent breakfast
nothing really, maybe not so cheap for a single traveller
The tiny high level mirror in the bathroom. I thought breakfast should have been included for the price charged. I was unaware we were to be in a self catering room otherwise we would have brought our own.
The breakfast was very good and there was plenty of choice and the service was very good. Sarah was very helpful and friendly.
