Good welcome - comfortable and spacious room.
Breakfast was pricey and having to wait 50 mins for our cooked order on two consecutive days over the xmas period was unsatisfactory. I understand there was a problem with the gas but guests should have been better advised of the problem and could have elected a continental type of breakfast at a reduced price
Close to the airport, but a nice quiet location with an excellent choice of restaurants within walking distance.
Comfy bed, spacious room Free wifi Good atmosphere
Staff very helpful and resourceful
Friendly staff. Close to airport.
A bit dated. Very poor lighting - not possible to read. Very thin walls between rooms, so noise from neighbours was a nuisance.
No shower gel
Ideal location for Wilmslow/Alderley Edge. Lots of friendly staff on hand, so service good, despite Xmas festivities. Excellent meals from a decent menu, on the door step. Big bedroom and big bed, overlooking quiet wood.
Truly, we cannot think of anything!
Everything!!thanks for a comfortable stay.
breakfast was good
service was poor
The pillows were too big. Was a little bit expensive
Great room, good staff, fab breakfast, great location
The hotel rooms were spacious and comfortable and spotlessly clean. The adjoining Coach and Four retuarant and pub was really busy and had a great buzz with live music on both Friday and Saturday evenings. The food in the restuarant was excellent and I would highly recommend it.
Although quite a large car park due to the restuarant and pub it was really difficult to find a parking space. There should be separate parking for residents.
Good quality modern room and en suite, comfortable bed, quiet - good night's sleep. Attached restaurant does decent food. Plenty of parking.
Checked in late (warned them in advance) - on arrival no one in reception (which was fine). Having rung the number provided, took ages for someone to come (I was starting to consider sleeping on the reception couch!), and when he did he was quite surly (said people are often rude to him and he has to come from a distance away). Just write on the note that it may take someone 6-7mins to arrive - it's the uncertainty that annoys people! Value for money - not what I would pay for, but it was a business trip on expenses and I had to be in that area.
Close to Coach & Four. Lovely pub & food.
Nothing springs to mind.
The staff were great and the location is superb. Being slightly separate from the bar meant there was no noise whatsoever. The breakfast was good and the room we stayed in (superior double) was spacious, clean and comfortable.
There were no toiletries available other than a shower gel dispenser, but this is a minor niggle.
Air conditioning was not working Not easy to check out Noisy
hotel definitely needs a fresh coat of paint
Hotel was nice and clean. Excellent location for a stop over for Manchester airport.
Bathroom was a bit of a let down compared to the standard of the rest of the hotel but it was still clean and served its purpose
This is easy access to the middle of Wilmslow, but a fair trek from the station if you're on foot. We had a ground floor room at the rear facing woods. It was quiet. There were four pillows in all (nice change not to have to have to ask for extra). The bed was huge. The room was very clean and fresh. Everything worked, hairdryer, kettle and AirCon. Didn't try the iron. The shower was excellent. The staff, who also staffed the pub, were friendly and helpful. The pub next door (there is a covered walkway) did excellent food and a good range of red wines.
We had two bath towels (large and fluffy) on arrival, but maid only left one on subsequent days, we had to ask for another each day. There is no parking reserved for hotel guests, we arrived on a Saturday evening and were lucky to get a space. There is a public car park nearby, and a road down the side of the pub with a single yellow line that could be used for 'out of hours' parking if pushed. In our room the hook on the back of the bathroom door was missing. Don't forget your toiletries, the ones supplied are basic at best.
Very good quality comfortable beds
Location - ideally suited our purpose
No breakfast included in the price
Great location, great breakfast. Lovely staff.
Very, very basic room & facilities. Probably even less facilities compared to a Travelodge.
Great location and lovely for a weekend stay. Pub attached to the hotel has great food, cosy atmosphere and friendly staff.
I booked the hotel in July for a November stay and booked a twin room for myself and my Mum. On arrival at the hotel we were booked into a double room, which didn't impress us and as they were fully booked we had to make do. We have stayed in this hotel every November for the past 9 years, it has happened once before so I'm not sure why we don't get what was booked.
Nice room and facilities.
Lumpy pillow Un-manned reception Breakfast was ok but not much choice - only white bread (no other choice), only orange juice (no other choice) etc..
Room door did not close properly so anybody could walk in to the room. Lack of draws and storage space.
