Nice room with a large and comfortable bed and fair-sized TV; free wifi; it's attached to a decent pub with a good menu. Cooked breakfast (at extra cost) was good. Friendly staff. Location is a little outside the town centre, but easy walking distance. Overall a good balance of price and quality.
Overall the cleanliness was good but I think whoever cleaned the bath had missed a couple of bits. Probably just a one-off oversight though because in general everything was very clean.
nice room, good bathroom, great shower.also has great television for passing an hour or so.
The room was a little cold when we arrived. Heating is there but you have to turn it on. On a cold day it might be idea to warm the room if you know its going to be occupied.
Far enough away from the airport to give it more of a personal touch, but within easy travelling distance to get there within 10 minutes.
Car park does get extremely busy. To have a reserved section for hotel guests would be beneficial.
The room was quiet and comfortable; the staff were friendly and helpful and the area just suited our need to be in Cheshire and also within easy reach of Manchester.
Visited a friend and this hotel was literally down the road from his place.
Had trouble connecting to the internet.
Abit too far for the airport
Comfortable bed and quiet rom.
Location, decor, food.
Previously had a bad experience due to couple in next room arguing ALL night. Explained this to staff & were upgraded to executive room for free this time
Reception staff nice. Room clean and warm. Excellent location.
Very good bedroom. Friendly and helpful staff. Good pub, good atmosphere and good food.
Clean room, comfy bed.
No instructions on breakfast arrangements on arrival so didn't bother. Difficulties in running a bath as the water goes straight down the swivel plug!
Spacious room, good shower, no complaints at all.
This is a regular haunt for us , perfect place for a night away , great bars and restaurants in wilmslow pub attached to hotel is super ,, lovely rooms .
Enjoyed my stay. It was relaxing, the staff were pleasent and helpful.
hotel is nicely located coach & four restaurant is great offer for food and drinks
Bed quality was not good Street noise at room no 10
We both fought it was in a nice part of the world and the pub and lodge looked bright and clean
Waiting 15min to check in and the hot water was Luke warm so I was cold after shower
The room was clean. Bed comfortable. The sink in the bathroom had a single, mixer fauscet (seems UK is just discovering the convenience of modern bathroom fixtures) The food in the restaurant was quite good. Wifi was free and good in bothe the hotel and restaurant. Will stay again.
Location to town centre, and pub food was amazing
Easy to check in and out. Phone in reception call 19 and member of staff came straight over. Big comfortable room. Big bath good shower. All clean. Lovely bed. Quiet.Very central. Great food in the pub. Friendly staff.Good parking.
Nothing not to like.
Rooms tired Hall smell of bleach
not having the option of a continental breakfast
Spacious room with tea and coffee making facilities.
Heating through the air con system noisy. Very poor sound proofing, heard everything, doors slamming and people talking, even someone's phone ring tone! Also needed a thicker duvet for this time of year.
Although only just set back off the main road you cannot hear the traffic, nor the live band in the Coach and Four in your rooms. It's very close to the shops and ideal for visiting local attractions. We have stayed in 4 other local hotels and prefer The Lodge, this is our 2nd visit and will be back in July.
The bar restaurant was excellent. Sadly we are a little late, so didn't want to each too much, but the starters we shared and the Rissoto were excellent.
Bathroom was only average and had no shower gel in the dispenser. Wifi was shocking. And there was no data signal on my phone in the room. No power next to the bed. This is a pet hate of mine. Why have 3 sockets across the room at the desk but none next to the bed. Don't we all have phones and tablets we want to keep close by on charge? There were no staff after 7pm at reception. Finally there was nowhere to get a drink after the bar closed. A vending machine in the lobby was nearly completely empty. Despite loving the bar, I will not be back. Shame. I wanted to love this place and make it a regular whilst passing through.
