Working in Wilmslow, it was perfect for me. Clean and tidy. Nice pub/bar attached. Nice breakfast. Nice place. Will return.
Smelt a little funny but nothing serious.
The Lodge is adjacent to a nice pub on a busy main road, but because it's a separate building situated behind the pub, the noise from the road and the pub is greatly reduced. Well priced, good standard, modern accommodation
Staff were helpful, facilities excellent and a good night sleep.
The full english breakfast was let down with cheap sausages and tinned tomatoes.
Great location, lovely staff
The pillows were rock hard - found it difficult to get comfy
We had a great evening the night before travelling to SHARM EL Sheikh The lodge is next door to the pub the food excellent and drinks. The 1st Thursday of the month is a comedy club which we enjoyed you have parking at the lodge the room excellent clean and service fantastic, Breakfast Excellent would go back every time we travel from Manchester Airport, Wilmslow is a lovely place to visit.
Can not find any faults
- 4 miles from Manchester airport yet no noise from planes - decent pub food - attitude of staff
- admin weak (dinner bill failed to make it to reception before check-out next day, additonal manual process needed)
Nice pub attached to the hotel. Clean, good facilities in the rooms.
Small breakfast room was a little cramped.
room large and bed extremely comfortable. Good size bathroom. Very clean. Nice bar and outside seating area.
Would have preferred proper tomatoes for breakfast and toast served on table but I am probably being picky!
Beds were comfortable
Noise from room above. You could here the boards squeeking as they walked about. Bathroom just adequate, but no loo roll and floor not cleaned properly.
The lodge is well situated, with spacious comfortable rooms. The room was to the rear of the hotel, so it was quiet, possibly not the case if you were nearer the road. Ordered room service on arrival, this was delivered quickly and was of good standard. Would definitely recommend.
Location Ease of booking Value for money
Evening meal: most of the specials were in available ie 2 out of 4. Change of menu seemed to have issues with the kitchen?holes in the bath towel
Location of hotel and room food space relaxed plenty of hot water
bathroom a bit spartan
Efficient staff - good location and price
Had to change room on check in - due to smoking smell Lengthy wait for breakfast
The adjoining pub/restrurant offered good food and was a really nice place to have a few drinks. The location is very good if you fancy a night out - close to other bars. Hotel was very clean, with large kingsize beds.
You could hear the heavy bathroom doors which kept banging in the night from other rooms, sadly we didn't have the best sleep because of this - and the fire alarm was set off early on the sunday morning.
The location was suitable for our needs. Having lived in Wilmslow it was perfect for me. I was able to meet with close friends and have a reunion in the pub 'Coach and Four'. This was my fifth visit in 20 years.
The ironing board totally unsuitable. What happened to the old types that were there for years.
Staff were friendly and attentive. Food was excellent. Room was very spacious and clean. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The receptionist when I checked out asked if we were heading straight home and recommended the local Sunday market, which was worth the visit
The price of breakfast
Big room Bath Very clean Room well equipped
Pillows not comfortable for me, too fat! Unable to keep bathroom door open
Location Food Staff
People upstairs were very noisey and heard them walking about all night . I got superior room but didn't look very superior and bathroom was basic
climate control in the room.
pillows to hard
This property was recommended to us by a friend and we have no hesitation in passing on that recommendation
The Manchester weather
service and standard of breakfast
Friendly receptionist and most helpful with enquiries and transport reservations. Convenient to dine in adjacent pub/restaurant. We did need to request some attention to get our meal as on the first visit it took over an hour to receive first course..
Too many heavy fire doors to open to arrive at designated room making it difficult to handle luggage as there is no help. More like a motel. Food quality could improve and service speeded up as very slow. Important if an evening meal and wanting to retire early for dawn flight.
Food was excellent and staff v friendly. Location good for airport. Good sized room too and comfortable.
Parking was almost a problem when we returned after an evening at the theatre. Fortunately there was one remaining. Designated guest spaces would be useful. Bathroom door was difficult to close.
