the location The hotel obviously needs a minor refurb the biggest problem it has is noise pollution from old plumbing and old air conditioning systems

The mirror in the bathroom with the steam free area. Convenience. Price! The bath plug wasn't the right size for the plug hole so the water drained out as soon as you filled it up! Not good quality pillows and no extras in the room.

Location for Wilmslow good Shower the worst we have ever encountered. No spray or adjustment just a solid mass of water from the centre. Kettle switched itself off before it boiled and then switched itself on again. No one in reception when we left.

Great location and the room decor was well presented, with a great sized bed. The bathroom was the worst bathroom I have experienced in a hotel like this. It was dowm to odour as it was worse than some public toilets and was quite unbearable to the point it made me gag slightly and made me not want to use it much at all. Bit disappointing as I was looking forward to a nice bath and the rest if the room seemed ok.

Breakfast was great. Bed very comfy. Noise & fighting from other guests on our floor, which lasted from 12.30 till 5.30 am, but this is in no way the fault of the hotel, but would of been nice to report this at the time at the reception.

The room and especially the bathroom was dirty and old fashioned. For the price bottled cheap horrible smelling soap was very disappointing. The timber frame construction is noisy so don't get a ground floor room you can hear everything.

it is in a good central location and close to the station It is typical of a budget hotel but that is fine as all local bars and restaurants are only a short walk away.

This is about my 8th visit to the Wilmslow Lodge. I visit with my Mum at the same time each year, we are from North Wales and meet up there with friends from Leeds who we holiday with in Tenerife in the summer. It's our 'Christmas Meet' and find it very convient, firstly for distance as it is about half way for both of us, easy reach of the town and the fact that it is a few footsteps away from the Coach and Four Pub where we have lunch and dinner and are able to have a few drinks with no driving involved. It's a perfect meeting place for us and is very comfortable. It's getting a bit dated now and could do with a face-lift (i.e. bathrooms).

Central location for town centre. Had asked 3 times for extra bed (once on line) an dtwice by telephone and on arrival no extra bed had been arranged. It had to be organised when we actually checked in.
