    Views and flapjacks!!

Please be aware that on vodaphone there is no signal at all !! Also Sat Nav takes you down a one car wide track and stops half way, this is the right road just follow it to the bottom, very steep and narrow !

Great location, close to national park, easy to get to the beach. Excellent stay with fantastic cooked breakfasts each morning, the view from the farm is just stunning! My son enjoyed watching wild ducks, rabbits and horses each morning. Jane's stewed plums and flap jacks are truly amazing... We had a great time and absolutely enjoyed our stay.

A fantastic location, very quiet and peaceful. We were made to feel welcome by Richard, the proprietor, we only stayed for 2 nights but would love to stay for longer. The breakfast was excellent- very large portions (too large for some) and very good quality food. Highly recommended for a quiet break and good walking close by.

Absolutely loved the place. Was immediately made to feel welcome by Richard, who helped with bags, showed us around and then left us to it. Breakfast was lovely and relaxed, and all the food etc were top drawer. Location was spectacular, and as a long distance runner, I couldn't have asked for more challenging and adventurous surrounds to explore. Whole place had a homely feel to it, and was very sad to leave!

Not so much a didn't like, but an area where I feel you can improve, and thats the website photos! Though they are plentiful, I honestly don't think they do the place enough justice. The views are spectacular and also the proximity to other locations needs to be highlighted more as I think these are even more selling points about the place.

Friendliness of owners, Richard and Jane are perfect hosts. Food plentiful and delicious Flapjacks are to die for! Views are stunning whatever the weather. The warm welcome on arrival and even a slice of cake with our first cup if tea. Richard also invited us to join him in the lounge one evening for a nice glass of cider. All in all the perfect place to take a holiday.

Just about everything! What a view into the valley from the conservatory, The breakfast in the morning is a dream start into the day. Good for walking, Richard is a one, very witty.

Nothing really, only the walk to the Pub is a bit exhausting....(!?)

Everything about the place exceeded my expectations, my wife and I had a great swim, the owners booked the local pub for us and the breakfast and the location was perfect. We were very lucky that we were the only ones in the house that night which I believe is unusual so we almost had the place to ourselves Would I return, yes I would and my wife felt the same Mobile phones do not work here (3 and Vodafone not sure about others) so this I either a bonus or against depending on if you are really getting away from it all. The wi fi was excellent though. Very friendly and helpful, pool was excellent and bigger than expected, note that you have to open and replace the covers so on arrival it may look like the pool is closed but it is not

There was only one thing that I could possibly like to see addressed and that was locks on the bedroom doors which they did not have, we were the only ones in so not an issue but I travel with a load of gadgets and would prefer to be able to lock a door, that is the only small point I would change

The farm is in a beautiful location between Porlock and Lynton/Lynmouth - it is completely quiet and peaceful. The views are stunning. Richard, the owner is very friendly. The room was lovely - very comfortable. My dog loved it too. Fantastic and would love to revisit. Highly recommend - perfect location. Beautiful.

My only small point is that Richard and Jane need to answer the phone. Driving to Exmoor for the very first time and in the afternoon/early evening - it would be handy to have the owners answer their phone. After being their for a couple of nights I realised that it was a general attitude of relaxation: I think they assume there's never anything to worry about. It's a lovely attitude, yet wouldn't hurt to answer the phone especially when expecting guests. But a tiny point - if you're very comfortable driving in Exmoor and remote/side roads/tracks then absolutely a non-point.

Wilsham Farm is located in a fantastic spot which means both privacy and has a "wow" factor second to none. Having been delayed we had a longer journey in the dark which slowed our arrival. On ringing the property the proprietor, Richard, gave advice on the best route to Wilsham. We arrived in the dark and he (Richard) made sure we were safely ensconced in our room and also brought us a supper of sandwiches made with home made bread along with some home made ice cream. We had booked the Suite and it was truly a lovely large room. Warm and spacious with a super comfy 4 poster. Morning broke and it was then we were able to appreciate the fantastic location and a big fresh breakfast in the conservatory. Local produce was used whenever possible and portions generous. At no time did we not feel welcome and as a jumping off point for a short visit, taking in a photographic expedition to Porlock Wwir, Wilsham Farm was idyllic and convenient. We shall return for longer soon. Highly recommended as a comfortable, friendly and warm place.

    Nothing negative whatsoever

Very quiet and peaceful. Has log fire in lounge. Host (Richard) is a real character and we enjoyed talks with him. If you like horses, you will enjoy this retreat. Good breakfasts - forget your diet for your stay. Good local pub with real log fires (3) nearby with good food, not too expensive. Great ales.

LOVED the bed, was the comfiest bed we'd ever slept in! Room was beautiful and views were amazing. Richard couldn't have been more helpful. Breakfast was really delicious and filling. Would definatley reccommend to other for a quiet getaway

The only thing I would say is the wifi only worked downstairs which was a shame. Wouldn't recommend if you prefer somewhere a bit lively or shops nearby but perfect for a peaceful getaway.

Our host was very welcoming. Our room was very spacious with plenty of Miles tea, coffee and homemade flapjacks. The farm is very secluded and very quiet. Beautiful views and wildlife. It's a a fair trek to Lynmouth or the bar but if you like hiking it's easy. breakfast was first class.

Room was a little cold on arrival but with the portable radiators on and a hike it soon wasn't an issue.
