A very good breakfast. Friendly owners.
There wasn't a comfortable lounge to relax in. No leaflets on the area or local attractions to peruse. Very much geared to business people and weddings.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Overall a nice place to stay.
Staff very helpful, problem with the TV had me moved to a new room right away. Comfortable and good location for me although not near enough to any town/village really if you wanted to eat etc. outside the hotel
Décor & rooms a bit tired.
The staff were excellent and most helpful. I stay around Knutsford for business and will be staying at Wincham Hall Hotel again. Extremely good value for money.
breakfast was ok
we had no hot water in the evening or the morning, therefore no decent washing, after 3.5hrs in a car not good.
Very handy for the motorway
Decoration a bit down at heal but not a big issue
the service was second to none. friendly atmosphere.
food was lovely on the evening, good selection. Room size was decent. breakfast was quick and very tasty.
it needs some tlc, desperate need to be decorated. very old bathroom with random stickers on the wall advising how to use. corridors poorly lit and signposted for my room. needs a sign on the road advising sharp turning coming up nearly had an accident.
Friendly welcome and comfort a priority. Beautiful grounds to explore. Food freshly cooked and very good value.
Some problems with showers and keeping water at a consistent temperature. Be aware of sound disturbance owing to nearby airport.
Quiet, everything you might need. Room had a bath but no shower. Comfortable bed in room 10 not in room 9
The smell! Downstairs there was a strong smell of damp or fustiness.
Good quiet location very good connection to motorway network. Had an air of faded grandeur. Limited staff who all worked well to meet our needs.
The staff were very friendly and obliging. And the position was very handy as we primarily can for the Tatton park flower show.
The rooms were in great need of a face lift. The electrics were abit worrying with extension chords everywhere. The rooms were also incredibly hot with no fans or a/c available.
Very old and tired. In bad need of a refurb!!! Old ripped carpet in bathroom. Water took 45 mins to drain away in the shower. Cobwebs all over windows!
A licencenced premisis with very good dining facilities. Great spot for a country walk about. No traffic noise.
Waited a we while for the hot water to come through.
Very nice green open surroundings with peace and quiet. Good wifi. A nice bar and very generous portions for dinner. An en suite bathroom.
The tv in the room 2, 1st floor was on a moveable bracket. However you would not be able to watch the screen unless you stood on the bed at the head of the bed. This is despite trying to angle the tv downwards. Otherwise you just see distorted colours. The room was small and could very much do with being updated as could the bathroom. They do not serve lunch.
We loved our stay here, even though it was only one night. It was easy to find from the Manchester airport and was much more affordable than hotels actually in Manchester. And my guess is much nicer. All of the staff we encountered were extremely friendly and helpful, with directions, food recommendations, etc. The rooms were quiet even with the hotel right by a road. Breakfast was included - major plus for us! No A/C or fans, which could have been an issue on a hot night, but we had no problems since it was cool out.
The breakfast was a full English breakfast - make of that what you will. Shower was a little confusing to figure out. No A/C, but that seems to be pretty standard for Manchester (and England). All these are just minor complaints!
I am sorry to say we did ot find much that we liked
The hotel was dirty, poorly maintained we moved room once because the room had not been cleaned and we found around 30 dead fly's around the bath, the evening meal was fair but possibly slightly under cooked.
We loved the peace and quiet. It was very nice to have a large and elegant room. The menu was limited but the dinner was excellent. Breakfast was fresh cooked and good. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It was a pity that we were only staying one night.
A jug of tap water with dinner instead of just a glass would be good. The shower was a bit difficult to regulate. I should have liked hot water to be available at breakfast as well as tea and coffee. Also there was no sugar free cereal. But all these are minor details.
Service. We were there for a wedding which was organised superbly, would recommend.
Beds very poor,need new mattress.
Friendly Staff, clean room, nice venue, awesome breakfast
Bed not particularly comfortable and room decor is very dated
Good restaurant inside and well covered by wifi connection. Place very quite in the green.
Friendly and extremely helpful and obliging staff. Beautiful dinner in the restaurant and lovely, plentiful breakfast.
Room was for family of four, but only one not very comfortable dressing table chair. Bar area a bit depressing!
Very happy :-)
close to where i was going
no table or writing desk bathroom shaver light broken toilet seat cracked tv 8 feet in the air handwritten notice on shower saying close the door
instant coffe in bar although they had a coffe machine
