Hotel is in an excellent location. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent, just the right size portions. Rooms were decent size and clean. Would definitely stay here again.
Only 2 minor negative points. The shower pressure was a bit low,so not a great water flow. But that could have been just our room. And the other slight minus, the free Wi-Fi was very slow.
Good facilities, friendly staff, good breakfast, great location.
The room was a touch dated, bathroom light took some time to realise the switch had been switched and shower was a bit multiple choice in terms of tempreture - but the price we paid reflected. £10 parking was a little unexpected.
Found Manager Giles very friendly and helpful, location, access from main road, only stayed one night really enjoyed the stay, big thank you to all the Staff
Fifteen year old Son did not like the NO WiFi in the room did not worry us, was only available in Lounge/bar room
Location Staff friendliness Breakfast
Staff very helpful. Clean. Rooms were a little cold. But I would go back as very friendly and beautiful views
Location is fantastic and provides great access to the town.
Toilet did not flush in the room, radiator went off early in morning and woke up cold. Both issues were rectified when reported. Toilet fixed by maintenance department and additional electric heater provided. We also had to pay for on site parking.
Comfortable beds, good location
No wifi in room
LOCATION, VERY CLEAN, COMFY BEDS
Room very clean and comfy exelent choice of breakfast and will stay again thank you Chris & Sue
This hotel was excellent value for what we paid would deffinately stay again
The lighting was poor at night along the path leading up to the hotel
The staff on reception and at breakfast were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was nice - the portions of cooked breakfast aren't enormous but there is a buffet table with cereal, fruit and juice so there is plenty to eat. The room was very comfortable, clean and pleasant.
The hotel is a little dated but the staff couldn't have done anymore to be friendly & welcoming. Thanks
Room good. Food Ok.
long corridors, doors, stairs.
Location and Car Parking
Steps in Annex
very nice hotel. good location.
there was very little entertainment, we expect to be entertained in a hotel of this size, entertainment three times a week is not enough. we did not like having to pay five pounds a day car parking in the hotel grounds.
Staff were without exception happy friendly a.nd efficient.
Dining area too small.
Staff were very helpful and efficient.
Staff were very attentive but for restaurant maitre d. Good location. Lovely building
The room was very dirty - black mould on the windows and bath plumbing. Thick band of ingrained dirt around bathroom skirting. Broken window pane. Asked to share a table when there were a number of other 2 seater tables available. It was too much effort to set one.
Location in lake district. Room itself was fine.
The shower didnt work at all. No water came out. The hot tap on wash basin was literally a dribble. Some other reviews state similar problems so looks as tho this is ao g term problem. The room was at the back with a spectacular view of 4 sq yrds of concrete. Just wasnt worth £85.00 for 1 night. The cooked breakfast was nice but incredibly small 1 sausage, 1 rasher of bacon, 1hash brown, 1 egg, cheap baked beans, 1/2 of a tomato. Just not worth £85.00 a night. Parking spaces all reserved for no one. Hotel wants to charge their own customers £5.00 to park in a hotel which is already not worth the money!!! You could stay in a bradford and have a better view, better breafast and a room with a shower that works, for £40.00 a night Shame really this is so poor value
Clean tidy room ,good breakfast
Good choice for Breakfast and excellant location
Tailored to older people, very small bedroom for £105 per night, bathroom covered in mould and in desperate need of updating. Too hot in rooms to be able to sleep
Broken handle on door
Nice view from the room window
Hotel has seen better days
The lounges, a bit grey and like waiting rooms.
Friendly staff,great views
extra charge for parking whilst only 5 pound had no other option then to pay it,should be included in room price
