Staff, location, setting, food. It was postive experience.
Beds , springs gone in them, felt like I was sleeping in hammock with springs sticking into you.
Facilities, cleanliness, good staff
Price of meals in both restaurants too high. Poor choice in main restaurant.
Comfy bed The view from reception
Noisy room Hairs stuck to bathroom mat People walking past window (room next to car park) They did not have our booking (apparently due to a new database). The cost. 129 room only was simply not worth it.
Really comfortable clean hotel. Great night's sleep on very good bed in tastefully furnished and decorated room. Food at breakfast delicious.
Restaurant organisation at breakfast chaotic and understaffed. We were told to take seat and help ourselves to the buffet but there were no free tables. Eventually got table which needed clearing and re- laying. Had to chase and prompt young inexperienced and very overworked staff to clear table and bring crockery and cutlery. No guidance about where to get teas and coffees - some guests were served by staff, we were not. Eventually able to settle to eat but ambience was terrible. Like a very busy and overcrowded works canteen. Neither a pleasant nor peaceful experience. Would say more staff with experience needed in such a busy setting.
The room was comfortable.
The driveway was in a horrible condition, and leaving the hotel towards Coventry was a complicated affair due to the multilane highway.
Good sized gym with plenty of equipment.

Pool, steam room. New spa saloon looks good but not tried it. Breakfast is good but they do need more staff at peak times. Bed very comfortable and view over golf course beautiful. Most staff lovely.
Getting in and out of hotel onto road isn't the best. Disability access is not good, lots of stairs and horrible lift, which needs maintenance. You can walk round from reception to resturant to avoid stairs but path needs repairing. Car parking very limited for disabled.
Friendly staff, good value.
Beds well past their prime and poor quality.
I liked setting over the golf course Nice receptionist Helpful service in pub restaurant and nice size TV for watching the World Cup
Didn't like dirty tea cup Hair on floor in bathroom and in bath First room we were shown smelled of cigarette smoke About 1.30 am someone was trying to open our door - not sure who it was - scary if you were on your own.
The grounds were beautiful and the spa was good though facilities closed quite early on a Sunday.
The first room smelled of smoke but the hotel quickly re-roomed us.
Friendly staff, great value, comfortable room
Spa facilities great. Some members of staff very helpful. Lovely location. Great potential but very much unrealised.
Lift broke down. We had asked for a disabled friendly room but we had to go up 20open irn steps to the room. Very dangerous- told no other room available. Tv didnot work- a man came to mend it and said he would get repaired. Still the same the next day. Another came and got it going. carpet very dirty, quilt dirty. No bedside light on one side. The lights worked with overhead ones so could not have small lights on alone. Cooked breakfast in room service cold. Inadequate cutlery to eat with. Had to ring three times to get breakfast. Do not go to this hotel if you have a disability/ difficulty in walking.
Outdated, also the bed could use a new matras
Fantastic all round
Staff Leisure facilities cellar bar location
room a little small and airless
The room and food were excellent.
No air con in room
The view over the golf course from the room.
The awful breakfast overseen by too few staff; the sprawling, corporate of the hotel in general.
Cooked breakfast General ambience
Needs clearer directions to reception from main car park - difficult to see at night
The family room was beautiful and spacious. Everything we needed.
Most of the staff were pretty unfriendly and there was hardly a smile in sight. My four year old son fell down the stairs and the receptionist didnt even acknowledge him let alone ask if he was ok. One of the waiters at breakfast was bordering on rude. It was such a shame as the hotel itself was fantastic.
Views they were amazing!
The hotel was comfortable, warm and clean with friendly staff, good food, lovely surroundings and best of all awesome facilities, set in the countryside so it was peaceful and beautiful.
Can't fault this place, I left there feeling refreshed and relaxed.
thin walls, could hear the neighbours. stain on carpet.
The hotel is exceptionally clean and staff are very helpful. View from room wonderful.
Restaurant staff not quite alert. Waiting for food for 1 hour in evening yet only 8 diners. The breakfast starts at 7.00am, but no hot food when arrived. Was handed menu only ordered porridge took 40 mins. Next day brought out hot food at 7.30am to help yourself. Booked this hotel as on an early start & needed early breakfast.
Room was clean and a nice size
I requested early check in to find this had been over looked and had to wait
