We were warmly welcomed and taken to our room. The owners kindly answered any questions we had and located telephone numbers for a taxi that we needed. The breakfast was delicious and the waitress kind and friendly. When checking out the owner asked us about the wedding we had attended which showed she had obviously been paying attention to us the day before and took interest in how her guests had enjoyed their time on the island. Overall the experience was lovely and I would definitely recommend the Windsor Carlton to others. The only thing I would have liked was a proper shower in the rooms, or at least somewhere to hang the shower head that was attached to the taps to make showering a little easier.

Very clean and comfortable - well situated although parking wasnt easy. Staff unfriendly and unhelpful. The advertised coffee machine wasnt in the room and although brochure said WiFi availablle - this wasnt readily available.

The ambience of the hotel itself. It's location over the beach and its friendly staff. The whole hotel was kept very clean. Parking was not easy for the larger car. The shower entry was very small making it impossible for the larger person to have a shower. A folding door would alleviate this.

Nice owners; very good breakfast; quiet; fine view out to sea; very clean; lots of coat hangers; comfortable bed. Very cramped toilet/shower facility; very steep steps up to our top-floor room; lack of convenient place beside washbasin to put cosmetics, toothbrush &c, only awkward wire shelving under the basin.

Friendly people, superb freshly cooked breakfast, very clean & tidy.Room had excellent sea view and is in a quiet location.A Nice place to stay. Parking could be a problem if not quick, my single room was rather compact (small) - but was very clean.

De mensen van de "guest house" waren heel vriendelijk en niet opdringerig. Als we vroegen wat de weersvoorspellingen waren of tot wanneer het "Osborn House" open was of naar uren van bussen vroegen, werd het voor ons direct allemaal opgezocht op computer. Bij onze aankomst werd er ons een upgrade van de kamer voorgesteld zonder toeslag. Hierdoor konden we genieten van de super mooie kamer Beatrix. Nog eens een hartelijke dank hiervoor aan Ann. Wendy die het ontbijt verzorde is een lieve schat die het iedereen naar zijn zin tracht te maken. Haar ontbijten zijn super. Een dikke pluim!!!

Es liegt sehr nahe am Meer. Das Haus ist aus der Viktorianischen Zeit und vom Stil her sehr schön und ansprechend, geräumige Zimmer, stilvoller Frühstücksraum. Nicht gefallen hat mir, daß die Frühstückszeit für warmes Frühstück nur eine halbe Stunde am Morgen ist.

The location is superb with marvellous sea views and beaches within a minutes walk. The decore is stylish and the room was clean and comfortable. The shower pressure was weak and the mirror above the basin was too high for my 5ft 2in wife to see herself.

Excellent location, easy parking, warm welcome, friendly and helpful proprietors. Clean, bright and well-equpped room. Very good breakfast - wide choice, all freshly prepared and served by Wendy, a cheerful and helpful server.

Sehr schöne, ruhige Lage, dabei nur wenige Schritte zur Innenstadt und Bushaltestelle bzw. Zum Strand. Das Haus ist mit historischen Details interessant ausgestattet. Große Auswahl beim Frühstück, gute Zubereitung.

Lovely bed,coffee in room and radio. The showerhead was very small and had to be hand held. The television was far too small given the room size.The towels should be changed every day in a four diamond b& b and the poached eggs were rock hard.

as friends we all managed to get rooms over looking the sea. the quietness of the rooms. not hearing other guests in their room. lovely decor. very pleasant owners and staff. only problem was the room was cold in the mornig and last thing at night.
