The Windsor Carlton  

I have to say that this is the best hotel/B&B we've ever stayed in. The location is great - close to town and the beach but the surroundings are so quiet so you get the best of both worlds. We received the friendliest of welcomes and felt so looked after the whole time. Our room was clean, bright and beautifully furnished with a fab view of the sea; the hotel as a whole was immaculate. It all sounds too good to be true but The Windsor Carlton is the ideal place to stay in Blackpool - great location, great value for money and 2 lovely hosts to top it off!

We had an extremely warm welcome from Chris and Trish which lasted throughout our 3 day stay. The room was warm, spacious and beautifully colour co-ordinated. The breakfast menu was diverse, well cooked and presented, mouthwatering, especially the homemade banana tea bread. It would be difficult not to recommend the Windsor Carlton to anyone as it ticks all the boxes. It is like a little oasis.

The whole experience with Chris and Trisha was lovely. They made us all feel so welcome and at home straight away. The hotel was very well decorated and was spotlessly clean through out, which is a must when you are staying away. We loved the breakfast, it was all freshly cooked not re-heated, it was lovely and hot too. We would definitely stay here again, also we highly recommend it to our family and friends.

Many of Blackpools hotels and b+b's seems "over rated" and we found the owners and the support staff made a real difference to our stay...anything we needed was there, but if it wasn't we know that they would have sourced it....that's the type of people they are ! We would definatley recommend this amongst the 1,400 or so places to stay in Blackpool and when we return in a few years the Windsor Carlton will be our first choice. (will upgrade to the king size room again!...definatley worth a few extra pennies) Quiet enough to ensure a great stay, but located within a "brisk walk" of all the action associated with Blackpool...our view was that it was simply a great place to stay... you will not find a net curtain or any 80's decor in this place....very comforatable surroundings! .....a great hearty breakfast with well priced drinks made the Windsor Carlton a place in the morning and the evening

the windsor carlton made us most welcome. the staff were very friendly and our king sea view room was perfect. all in all , a perfect stay for a short break in blackpool..

We booked this hotel because of the excellent reviews it has on several comparison sites! It didn't disappoint at all,the owners,Tricia and Chris were fabulous,taking the time to explain everything about the hotel,our room and what was happening in the area that weekend!! Our room was lovely and clean,the bed very comfy and the little extra touches like Galaxy drinking chocolate as well as tea and coffee made a very refreshing change. The breakfast was one of the best we have ever had,good quality and fresh ingredients perfectly cooked. The location,for us,was great,quite a walk to the fun fair at South Pier but we appreciated the quieter nights! When we return to Blackpool this will be where we stay!
