sea view and peaceful location.
I honestly could not choose what I did and didn't like about my stay here. Everything about the weekend was perfect. The staff were really nice and welcoming; the food was amazing; the whole place had extremely high standards of cleanliness; the location of the hotel was perfect with a gorgeous sea view; the rooms were of an extremely high standard with a very relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. Very very very happy :)
Friendly proprietors,Trish and Phil, lovely staff, food well cooked and served with a smile, Trish went out of her way to make sure we could park our car safely and made sure we had no worries, she really cares about her residents and it shows.made us feel so welcome. I would definitely return for a longer stay.also I have already recommended this to friends and relatives.definitely First class
Having to leave at the end of our holiday and saying goodbye to new friends.
Great friendly staff! Nice place Good breakfast Clean :)
Staff, facilities and location was excellent. Very friendly and accommodating. Cleanliness was second to none. Food was. Poked freshly to our requirements nothing was atoo much trouble.
The only thing was our room was a little small but was only there to sleep.
Friendliness of staff Good breakfast Clean room
Very comfy beds, freshly cooked breakfast, staff attitudes,
Everything was perfect
Had to come home
Friendly welcome. Room was clean & cosy. Son liked his little corner. Ensuite although small was spotless. Bed was comfy with good pillows. Quiet location & the honesty bar was appreciated. Lovely breakfast choice, freshly cooked. Slight mix up with toast (soon rectified) & beans lukewarm but bacon & eggs were lovely & my husband enjoyed his porridge with dried fruits. Son liked the free, fast wifi.
If I was being very picky I'd say the shower pressure was a bit low & there wasn't much space to put a wash bag but it didn't overly bother us.
been before very welcoming, just right to walk into centre. excellent breakfast and clean room and en-suite.
Everything from checking in to check out. Very homely . Highly recommended
Nothing at all
We liked the location/area, the owners (Trish and Chris) and staff, the actual rooms (the sea view double rooms we each had were both great), the breakfast (quality and choice), the fact that there is free wi-fi, the bar (honesty system - help yourself and write it down). It was always nice and quiet too. Nothing was too much trouble, the people are really lovely, we could not have found a better place out of the hundreds on offer in Blackpool. With a tram stop fairly close by and only a ten minute walk to the North Pier, it was the perfect distance from the centre for us - not too close, not too far. And so much less crowded than the South Beach/Pier end. Fantastic.
Nothing. It was perfect.
The welcome from Trish was warm and friendly. Our room was absolutely stunning with a large sea view and it was spotless, had good quality extras like dressing gowns, fridge etc. the food was top snotch, freshly cooked, and my vegetarian sausage was top of the range make...Delicious! Nothing was too much trouble for the host and staff.we will be back!.
Situated next door to the Hilton hotel for a reason absolutely fabulous room was every but as good as there's if not better staff and proprietor excellent please don't pass this by if you're ever in Blackpool it's a diamond hotel at cheap as chips prices
Nothing the hotel was everything and more it said it was in the brochure
The room was immaculate and the decor was lovely. The breakfast was cooked fresh to order with a good selection to meet all needs (even fussy 8 year olds!) The staff were really welcoming and helpful
There was nothing not to like about this hotel :)
room/view proprietors location
Nothing negative to say, staff extremely friendly and helpful. Location is perfect for a family if you are looking for something a little quieter as the guest house is a good 15-20 min walk from the hustle and bustle. Very close to the tramline which stop right in the centre and are frequent. All in all a very pleasant stay :). Would recommend to family and friends.
The owners deducted the cost of the stay from our credit without telling us and before we had stayed in their premises. Charged us a premium for using a credit card. Very basic breakfast with our table situated right next to where people picked from the buffet breakfast, resulting in having to move to the side to allow them access to the food. Had to ask for towels to be changed after repeated use.
the owners went out of their way to make us feel at home. they are friendly and polite. we have stayed there before and will definitely stay again. would recommend the Windsor Carlton to anyone.
the one thing I didn't like was that our stay was too short.
Hotel and staff very good. I don't think the hotel is a 4 stars but the lady was wonderful. Clean and not far from the centre.
Blackpool as whole, first time and will never com back!!!!
waiting for breakfast to be cooked
nice clean room, great staff, parking planned out so we got a space opposite hotel big plus, and local morrisons store at top of street for value priced extras, not loud and manic like some locations
room too smalland no lift.
the room was really nice with the big bay window giving it loads of light. the food was excellent and the hospitality was fantastic tricia and chris couldn't do enough for you telling you where to eat and functions to go to.
the only thing I could criticise was the shower was a bit too small apart from that it was a brilliant stay thanks
the hosting was really pleased. they always guide us when we getting out ... definitely coming back again to this hotel ...
