Dating back to 1880, this fine Victorian mansion set a 10-minute walk from the center of Bath. It features luxurious rooms with views of the Royal Crescent or the well-tended gardens.

Beautiful room, nicely furnished. Central location with parking. Great for walking to main sights and city centre. Would definitely stay again.
My only suggestion would be that I would expect a full breakfast included in the price. The continental breakfast was lovely but it seems a shame they don't include the full breakfast as standard.
The friendliness of ALL the staff in every function - they were engaging and always responsive and eager to please. Wifi facilities were excellent

Early breakfast. Parking
Our room was lovely, very clean and well furnished. The staff were friendly and very helpful, and the guesthouse is a 2 minute walk from the town centre. Also the continental breakfast was lovely.
The king size bed was 2 beds pushed together and the cooked breakfast seemed a little steep at an additional 8 pounds each but don't let these small things put you off this guesthouse is lovely!
Staff, cleanliness, rooms and breakfast. Excellent location! We had amazing views across Bath from our room.
Great in every respect. Apart from super location, the single room I had booked was very nicely sized and decorated with a 140cm bed. I highly recommend it.
Location, staff and exclusivity was a treat
The parking permit would have been a nice FoC gift
The location was fantastic, very good for a B&B. Continental breakfast was more than adequate. Would happily go again.
The bathrooms were very small in our room, and unfortunately there was no bath in the regular rooms.
The decor - very old fashioned and tired. Hairs in the bath. Breakfast - the included continental was nothing of the sort. It was a rationed portion which you were expected to order blind. The continental option consisted of one pastry, two slices of toast, ceareal, tinned fruit or compote - each part of which is brought to you in strictly measured portions. Staff mucked up the final bill and needed to be approached twice to sort it out when it should have been obvious immediately that there was a problem.
Location, atmosphere and friendly staff.
Sofa bed was very uncomfortable.
Good breakfast Very helpful staff
Serious health and safety risk. On top floor and no means of escape from possible fire below.
Really liked how close to town and the stunning location of the property
Don't like the idea of paying for parking when you have booked to stay as a guest, and also adding charges for breakfasts
Easy to find, Clean,
window had a little problem a little over priced
The central location was good for visiting Bath. Staff were polite and helpful.
Room was cramped, pull cord on curtains broken, numerous drawer handles broken/missing, bathroom was tiny, chain on sink plug broken, 'free' wifi in room inaccessible and tv not programmed. Very disapointed.
The location was excellent for our visit . The staff and food were all very good. Staff made you feel very welcome. Staff very helpful.
The Room was rather small with a small en-suite. Noise was concerning each morning of our Stay as the Staff prepared breakfast.
I was visiting my son in Bath, wanted to do tourist bit as well.Situated right in centre, which was so good. Windsor met all my expectations in every way, would certainly stay again.
The hotel was in the ideal location for Bath. It was very friendly and clean. A warning about no lifts would have been useful - quite a hike to the top floor! Nevertheless would definitely go again.
Not their fault because the building is listed but not having a lift was a slight disadvantage.
Location was excellent. Only a couple of minutes away from the city center. When asking for information, we were informed that we would receive reduction after showing a specific tag. E.g.1 hour extra at the Spa. Ask for a parking permit, 12£ a day. Very useful!
Breakfast was good and there was plenty enough. But we had to pay extra for full English breakfast.
Location food good
No heating at all first night Staff response sharp and negative upon requesting partial refund for lsck of amenties heating Would not book again ,
Room was so small I had no room to open my luggage. The tepid water was intermittent (There was no hot water). Breakfast was awful. You have to pay if you want something hot.
Lovely large bath, comfortable room and air conditioning, it was lovely.
Long climb to the 3rd floor but worth it when you arrived.
The welcome was fantastic and was made to feel like nothing was to much trouble. The location was excellent as you could walk into the town within minutes and overall it was a wonderful experience.
To be honest there wasn't anything I didn't like. The whole experience was wonderful.
We were made very welcome on arriving at Windsor Guest House by the friendly, very helpful Receptionist, who immediately offered us an upgrade to a superior room. The room was spacious, with all amenities, (a bottle of water had been offered to us for a small extra charge on check-in). My husband and I both used the wifi on the top floor without any problems. Breakfast appeared to be from fresh produce including the orange juice and warmed croissants. We did not have the full English breakfast so cannot comment on this. The kitchen could be seen from the dining room and seemed to be well run by a number of young, smiling, attentive staff. As my husband and I wished to spend the day in Bath, leaving our car parked close to the Guest House, a parking permit was readily provided by Windsor, a full day's charge being £12.50. Quite reasonable when considering other, local parking options. I would be glad to book into Windsor Guest House again, when we next visit Bath.
Unfortunately our upgraded room was on the very top floor of the house. We were aware from previous reviews that there is no lift installed at Windsor GH because of the age of the property. However my husband didn't relish climbing three flights of stairs to our room but we managed :-D
Better than average continental breakfast, although it would be nice to have an English breakfast in such a quintessential English environment. One can pay extra for a cooked breakfast but the B&B is already expensive for such a small room. The room, although facing the main road, was very quiet. Although the single room was in the attic, the staff willingly took my luggage up there and brought it down as well.
The room was very small; much smaller than I'd anticipated, especially considering the cost of it when comparing with a number of other B&Bs I've stayed in whilst travelling around gorgeous towns in England.
Location! It's a brief walk to everywhere you want to go in Bath. We had a room downstairs with a private garden out back. It was a beautiful place to relax at the end of the day. The room we had was quite large, very comfortable, and reasonably priced. With the location, what more could you ask for?
The stairs are a little bit narrow. It made it tricky to carry several heavy bags down 2 flights of stairs. Other than that, there's really nothing I can think of.
