Located just a few minutes from the Pleasure Beach, Windsor Hotel has been graded 3 AA Diamonds and offers excellent standards of accommodation.

Ideally situated in the South Shore area, some rooms boast stylish four-poster beds for that special treat.

Windsor Hotel is family-run, ensuring that personal touch. All rooms are en suite and modernly furnished. We are close to all of Blackpool's attractions.

Deposit

100 percent of the first night will be charged on the day of booking and is refundable.

We offer single, twin, double and four-poster rooms, all non-smoking and modernly decorated. Room rates include a full English breakfast and special diets can be catered for (please mention when booking).

All of our rooms are en suite and offer the facilities listed in "room descriptions" as well as daily servicing.

Area information

The hotel is situated on a quiet road 2 minutes' walk from the Pleasure Beach and sea front. Our location is perfect for those wanting to sample the full variety of entertainment that Blackpool has to offer, ranging from shows, restaurants, pubs, the South Pier, promenade and illuminations.

The staff were very friendly and wlecoming and the breakfast was lovely. We stayed in a four-poster room and it was well-presented, clean and comfortable.

The walls were too thin, you could hear noises from adjoining rooms

The Owners were very pleasant and did everything to make sure you was
happy with the accomodation. Very friendly. Breakfast was great, enough
to choose from. The rooms were spotless, and had a lovely smell to them
when you walked through the door. Made my boyfriends birthday memorable.

Because on top floor, it was very clammy and warm

Noise as could hear constant door slamming,people stomping around, room
too small, bed uncomfortable,had too go in another room whilst the bar
got closed for a few minutes as obviously we was not trusted to be left
in there, breakfast greasy, tea stewed,definately not worth the

Quality of furnishings, closeness to the pleasure beach

I was advised during booking that my card details were being taken just as a booking guarantee. However, I later found out that half of the costs had been taken from my card without me giving any formal consent. I don't mind that the costs were taken from my card, but I would have appreciated being asked.

Food was excellent and the room smelt fresh and clean which I think is paramount especially in a hotel.

The biggest gripes we have about the hotel was the fact that during our three day stay, the towels weren't changed once, even though we left enough hints to do so. Also, the bathroom was very tiny and the shower could not be regulated in terms of temperature. It was always too hot!! My suggesttion is to fit Power Showers in all the rooms. The parking was a bit awkward too.
