Great 2 night stay.hosts very helpfull.nice four poster bed.hopefully be back next year when we play blackpool.
Only thing i can say (forgot to say when we left) could have darker curtains.thats all.
loved every minute of our stay...
The room was very clean and the bed was nice, the staff was very greating and I hope to be booking again in the future
To be honest I didn't come accross anything I didn't like and the price of the rooms are is good for the quality of the rooms
We enjoyed our stay at the hotel, we felt really welcomed and can't fault our stay.
If I was going to fault anything it would simply be the position of the TV view was blocked by the post.
The couple who own this boarding house were lovely. Very nice people and friendly.
We paid over the odds more than we could have paid at the hilton. I was expecting more for £130 for 2 nights but was very disappointed. I travel extensively and this place was poor. In the bathroom everything was rusted including the soap holder. The bathroom was like a very small walk in cupboard. The bed was not comfortable both mornings both my husband and I had sore stiff backs. The lounge was tired and dull. All the blackpool attractions information was out of date 2011 to 2013. We had only cold water in our room from the wash basin however the shower was hit. Sorry but we are both disappointed in the Windsor and with booking.com
The Hotel is clean and in a good location Staff are friendly and helpful Breakfast was very nice and well presented All in all we really enjoyed our stay and would use the hotel again Before we stayed we read some of the other reviews and to be honest I don't know what some people expect Its in Blackpool and look at the cost It was great value and better than we expected
The hotel was warm & friendly & was in a great location. Would stay there again.
Excellent service, breakfast, comfort
we had a noisy couple next door and walls were too thin, could hear them talking and walking round their room.
As soon as we arrived we were greeted by the very freidnly owners who found us a car parking space at the rear of the hotel. The room was exstremely clean and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom small but very clean and had all we required. Breakfast was good and there were some choices. The location of the hotel was very good in a quiet area, near to the south pier with easy access to the pleasure beach, as well as a vast selection of rock shops. The owners where also very helpful with plenty of local knowledge. We would use this hotel again especialy as one of the owners is from Bournemouth (Our home town)
Cold shower in the evening, and a few asthetic issues nothing major.
I would like come back with family
Nothing they r fanastic
The husband and wife owners were lovely, very friendly, breakfast was great =)
The owners and staff and the fact that they moved a car for us to have a parking space.
You can always find fault with any hotel room if you look hard enough, with the Windsor one does not have to look too hard! Small double room should read as miniscule, bed so close to the wall that you banged your legs every time you moved, Nasy cheap uncomfortabe mattress room full of cobwebs and walls dirty, leaky shower and we are sure that when the saniflow salesman came round the owners bought the noisiest one they could find! (dont flush after 20.00) "BIG" notice on the door, no food or alcohol to be consumed in room! but no bar opend downstairs!! and when we pay to stay in a hotel room we will eat and drink in it as we wish! The widsor hotel is what it is, a Blackpool B&B caught in a 60's time wharp.
Location, breakfast, friendliness
Thin walls could hear every word of next room, squeeky bed frame.
Staff were friendly and breakfast was lovely
thw staff was helpful and nice on arrival
Room number 4 needs a new mattress desperately. Just putting padding under the sheets is shocking. £65 a night for a 4 poster bed is not a bad price is you could sleep in it
Good service and helpful friendly staff.
The rooms were comfortable and clean, staff were very nice and friendly and the breakfast was lovely.
Great breakfast Clean and comfortable Friendly and helpful staff
Conveniently situated for Blackpool South railway station and several bus routes to and from Blackpools main attractions, the Windsor provided a quiet haven from mainstream Blackpool.A friendly welcome was backed up by comfortable rooms and an excellent breakfast.
Hotel was lovely and very close to promenade. Bed was very comfy and hosts were excellent. Breakfast was nice too.
Ensuite was a bit small and breakfast times were a little early.
Friendly service Location
The mattress Not a lot of electrical sockets
Felt like a home rather than a hotel
Parking was difficult at times but owners are always on hand to assist with this situation
I booked this for my daughters ,to celebrate my youngests 18th as they had never been to Blackpool ,they both said the staff were very friendly and helpful, the accomodation was comfortable ,breakfast was brilliant and the situation was ideal for where they wanted to go (they were buzzing about it when they came home, havent seen them that excited since Disney)
I think if Ihad given them the right directions and train stop they said they would have found The Windsor no problem (oops,im bad)
