clean, comfortable, welcoming. Proprietors very pleasant. Room cleaned every day. Breakfasts excellent. Good value for money. 'Old-fashioned' (i.e. good) standards.

Excellent location for Pleasure Beach. The couple that own the hotel made you feel very welcome and were very friendly. Would recommend the hotel great value for money.

The bed was really comfortable and the place was very clean, oh and the breakfast was spot on!!

When we arrived the device for accepting card payments didnt work.

Staff were brilliant so helpful and friendly always up for a chat. Rooms were clean and stylish. Excellent location for what we wanted ie pleasure beach. Amazing value for money and great having breakfast encluded, a fab stay.

An ideal place to stay to see all the attractions. The location was perfect. Rooms were small but very clean & tidy. The beds were comfy & there was no noise from the surrounding area so a good nights sleep was had. Breakfast was delicious.

The owners are the best! I have never seen such a friendly couple, and they were so welcoming and helpful. My husband wasn't keeoping too well, and they enquired and even offered lozenges to ease his throat! It's a steal for the price we paid, and the location is simply perfect. Walking distance to the pier, the Pleasure Beach amusement park and Sandcastle water park. The room was very cosy, warm and ideal for us. It was a perfect break! Thanks so much! We will be back! :)

near to pleasure park and the pier rooms ok but radiator not hot enough. nice breakfast tho.

top roooms in hotel very cold spent most of the stay very cold when in rooom had to get under the blankets to keep warm bar not open alot when we ready to go out would have liked to have had a drink and a chat with the other guests.

Both Matt and Jane were so lovely with all of us. The hotel was clean and set out lovely. Loved how close the hotel was to the sea and to the pleasure beach and sandcastles waterpark. Rooms clean and cosy.

The staff were so friendly and helpful - went out of their way to help us. Breakfast was great and our room was lovely. Excellent location for everything in Blackpool. Will definitely use again next time we're there and have recommended to friends and family!

Our room was very small, next time we'll ask for a larger one (our fault) The shower leaked through the shower door and made a huge puddle in the bathroom. Unable to get teletext on the TV This makes it sound poor, but it's not. 3 consecutive years at the same hotel and almost certainly again next year? Can't be bad!

This "Hotel" was given higher than 9 score on your site. We have stayed in 10 Guest houses over the last 3 weeks and we would give the Windsor a 5 compared to its' peers.This brings your scoring system into question. I have stayed in 2 star places with a score of 7 which are far better than 3 or 4 star places with a score of 9. The Windsor "Hotel" is the highest on the "that's just not possible list". The room carpet was soaked in smoke and other odors. The lounger/bed was filthy and not to be sat on. The heating didn't work and the four poster option was not very serious. Sorry. Booking.com has to work on its grading system.
