The accomodation was ideal for our needs and very good value for monegy
Good location and staff very pleasent
Nite club music could be heard very loud in room unable to sleep!
Near to everything we wanted
I liked the room good selection of tea coffee etc. clean room and warm heater comfy bed
I didn't like the fact that you can hear the room next door if you have noisy neighbours you may not get a good sleep
Location was great, easy to find. Rooms were amazing value for money.
Lack of staff. We had to check in at the bar. 1 member of staff checking in a dozen guests at once and people waiting at the bar for drinks. Staff didn't really seem to know what they were doing regarding checking people in either. Also we had to check out of our rooms at 11am. No one on reception at this time and the bar closed meaning we could not pay for the room. I had to be called the next day for payment to be taken.
Huge suite, meal thrown in for free too, fantastic place
Wifi connected once when I first arrived but after that I couldn't connect again. However, the suites are located over a bank with free wifi soninjust piggybacked that. Only a minor problem though and the pluses far outway the minuses!!
We stayed in the executive suite, staff were very helpful and wi-fi connection was excellent
No window in the bedroom (extremely hot and uncomfortable to sleep in) shower was luke warm, there was only 4 tele channels (bbc1 bbc3 and bbc4) and to get breakfast you had to go to another restaurant down the road. The description on the booking website also didn't mention that it was a nightclub therefore loud music and little sleep.
The hotel was perfectly placed for road travel in Norfolk. Although the views from the hotel were not picturesque the edge of the Norfolk Broads was only a short walk away. There was a wide variety of restaurants and cafes nearby, but the value for money in the hotel's restaurant/bar kept us on site in the evenings. Free parking was provided.
We would have preferred an ensuite bathroom, but, at the price, we absolutely could not complain.
Friendly staff & cheap accommodation ideal for what it was required for.
Having to share a bathroom with other rooms, especially there body odours.
Greetings and staff was excellent. Liked the rooms layout
Value for money and the bar facilities down stairs.
We had a 2 bedroom apartment, it was very spacious, well thought out, would stay again but ask for room at the back
All the noise from the people when they came out of the club, from 2am till around 2.45am while they were waiting for taxis.
needed a damn good clean
I was upgraded as there had been a mix up with my booking and I ended up staying in a whole apartment to my self so I was happy with that
In the beginning I thought I wasn't going to have any where to stay as my booking had been lost.
friendly staff,clean room ,comfortable bed.
the thin walls!! was kept awake by very noisy people in next room!!
Clean Convenient Good Value Good Parking
Nice spacious rooms
Stayed on a Thursday night - big mistake due to night club situated right underneath - noise started at 11pm and continued until 4am. I was not impressed the night before my wedding :( such a shame as apart from the noise it was fine!
Bar food facilities etc...
We had travelled for some 3 hrs from London and found location easily and in nice position. Family evening function was in good surroundings. Staff in the evening were fine altho all lack a bit of personality?
The shaving light in bathroom was broken and the attempts by the young "Manager" to find any sort of replacement was both frustrating and a dismal failure. The whole staff were on bar duty etc when we arrived at 4pm and were basically totalling disinterested in any problems! For an "Executive Suite" it was very poor. Damp ceilings and skirting boards etc had not been redecorated and the mattress has had it's day with actual protruding springs! Winelodge get a grip!! This casual approach cannot go on as not all visitors are stupid!!
The kitchen equipment was filthy and we couldn't bear to use it. The tea towel still had somebody's melted cheese and was brown. The pillows were so thin that we had to put our towels underneath. Our daughter walked around the apartment with bare feet and her feet were so black it looked as though she had walked outside. The walls and windows are so thin that if you don't hear the road you hear the railway. We left early and as you are made to pay on arrival we couldn't speak to anyone about a refund as after check in you never see any staff again. If you do stay here please ask to check the room out before you pay. The photos look wonderful but this is very cleverly done. The Winelodge is actually a pub with 2 meals for £8.
rooms &beding clean.
bathroom a bit manky
area and access is hard if you have bad eyes too many codes and too many doors to get to your room
