The beds were comfortable . Wifi worked . food in restaurant was good.
Was awakened at 10.30pm to loud screaming and very loud music and the shared bathroom was a disgrace with faeces on the floor and smoking and urine everywhere , when I complained I was asked if myself and my father who was in the room next to me if we would like to change room .. yes we had to pack everything up and move and the people who were responsible because they paid to stay extra nights could stay ... disgusting customer skills . please take my advise stay well clear . ironically it says have a peaceful sleep on the door card ????? usual speal nobodys authorised to give refunds but are authorised to take money....!!!
Lovely lounge and kitchen
Had a lot of trouble with the hot water, followed the instructions for the hot water booster which only kept the water hot for about 10 seconds, very thin pillows could do with some slightly thicker ones
The room had EVERYTHING. The bed was really comfortable. I will use again
location, near to the centre
the smell in the room
Bed was comfy and good heater.
No hot water. Too much noise from nightclub below when people left.
hard to find anything positive; had to find chap in bar to check in. Gave incorrect number and couldn't get into my room. Kind neighbour went back to down for me ..and she was the best thing
worn out pillows; very tired bathroom and bedroom. Clean but in dire need of smartening up. Noisy neighbours. Travel Lodges beat this hands down
Clean towels given out each day always nice and white and fresh. Room well looked after during our stay. Enjoyed our stay and would come again thank you.
Few Staines on carpet, person next to us on the Friday night had television on all night quite loudly so disturbed our sleep,
wi-fi was very poor, no connection at all
I liked the external look of wine lodge and thought I would be walking into an amazing place.
But once in the wine lodge room, I paid extra for kitchen area, which was worse than basic! We had no hot water in our sheared bathroom, so we had to use another, there was no Wifi the whole of the two night stay. There never seemed to be anyone with enough management skills to make discision. The room was not cleaned very well! And no smoke alarm in the room I stayed in with the kitchen in! Not sure even if the is legal! This stay made my camping holidays luxury
We liked the location and the large appartment.
Bathroom in need of a refurbishment. Storage heater in lounge/kitchen area too small. Mirrors in bedrooms, too near the heaters, would be better above the shelf. TV remote - did not work. Appartment door had to put shoulder against it to open after using the code
The bed was very comfortable and the apartment we were moved to was spacious.
Several things were not working but these were minor gripes compared with the terrible noise nuisance of club goers shouting and arguing right outside the rooms on Friday and saturday til 3 am. This coupled with the dingy area and busy a12 location made it unpleasant. I got no sleep at all on Friday night. Earplugs and exhaustion got me some sleep on Saturday. No one was ever on reception except for our arrival. Without the noise though the apartment was very comfortable.
The person who booked me into the hotel was very welcoming and helpful. It was my first time in Lowestoft so I was a bit nervous and worried but this person was kind. This made my stay comfortable and I will be back again end of this week.
I must have overlooked when booking that it was a shared bathroom which is located out of my room. I found it difficult to go to the toilet in the night and leave my bedroom door open as I use glasses for reading. SWIPE CARDS ARE BETTER ARE BETTER OFF
Relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff
Price was good, breakfast was nice
Room was very cold , tried to get the heater to work but couldn't sort it. Room was very dusty especially the blinds and bed head. Spare pillows as an option would've been nice . Not many people sleep with just one pillow .
Absolutely nothing to like!!!
I am emailing in complaint of a recent stay at the Winelodge. Myself & my elderly mother booked a room for the night of 3rd Nov. First thing no swipe card had to be given hand written code for reception door then separate one for our room. When we had managed to climb the 30 odd stairs (no carpet) to our room which was number 101 we couldn't even see the keypad as there was not even a lightbulb in the hall, pitch dark. Finally got in room, no curtain on window, was a dirty blind but nowhere to hook in into when pulled down so had no cover on dirty window. No mattress protector, bottom sheet didn't even fit, was about 6 inches short. 1 cup, tea bag but no milk only cream. You advertise free Wi-Fi,I had some work to do but was unable as internet was on & off ( mainly off) rang through to bar as no reception open after 4.45pm (unbelievable) the man gave me internet code but still no good. No one to complain to as only a poor young chap in bar who was responsible for so many duties it was ridiculous. We did point out the lack of light bulb which I will point out is highly dangerous. We never got it replaced. The shared bathroom absolutely stank of damp & was filthy, plug was too big for sink hole so couldn't fill basin to wash. Tv could only see people from the nose down, heads were cut off & lots on interference on right hand side of screen. Big split in side of duvet cover. Very wobbly clothes stand which fell over once. The window doesn't open at all to get some fresh air. There was no fire escape directions in room. That's all I can think of for now but overall it was the most appalling place I have ever stayed at. Disgusting & I wish for my payment to be returned asap.
We liked the layout of apartment/modern decor.
We stayed for 2 nights at £100. The first night there was some hot water, but limited. Next day no hot water. Had to boil kettle to have wash and wash up.There was no staff at reception on the way out to inform. On return at 4ish informed reception. Nothing was done and for the duration of stay had to boil kettles and saucepan(only 1 hob worked on cooker so that took ages) to try and have wash etc. You expect to have hot water to keep clean and relax and that should have been treated as an emergency. Also the decor had water damage on ceiling and wall that could easily have been painted. On reading reviews it seems this water problem has been longstanding! Would not stay again!! Shame because with a bit of effort this could have been an enjoyable stay.
The room was empty of furnitue apart from a sofa. For an executive room the standard was very poor.
The size of our suite was incredible and it was clean. The staff were friendly. The sofa and beds were comfortable. The TV worked.
The apartment was lacking a lot of maintenance. There were numerous problems and issues which could easily be resolved with some care and attention. We left a list for the management.
Oulton Broad was fantastic with our rooms close to the Marina. Room was adequate with en-suite facilities. There were lots of eating houses close by and the Wherry Hotel with its cheap food menu was just across the road.
The access to the rooms was up a very steep external fire escape. The walls were very thin and you could hear what others were saying. The bed was uncomfortable and needed replacing, and the toilet seat was not fixed in place.
Location for what we needed
Some utensils were not clean, heater in the main living room didn't work. No one on the reception to tell. The apartment needs some Maintence work being done.
Staff, were hospitable, food was brilliant.
Nightclub going on till 4am, fact came to have breakfast as advertised but doors locked. Sharing bathroom and water cold. Springs in bed not great but seriously been asleep on worst. Think its more for young than over 40s. Was told more self service yet found confined to bedroom. Pls don't think bad but was surprised as end of season accommodion felt wanted to return as son lives close by. Thank. You though for al you did. Much appreciated
Almost everything, but is was cheap.
The accomodation was ideal for our needs and very good value for monegy

Nite club music could be heard very loud in room unable to sleep!
