The greeting from the staff was exceptionally pleasent and helpfull Perhaps a liitle more information that there is a night club in the same building and if you want any sleep before 3am forget it. If i had known i would never have booked. Sadly i paid £80 for about 2 hours sleep!!

The fist appartment I was given, was not very clean and smelt of stail cooking, I was then given an upgraded two bed appartment, which was slightly better, but still was'nt that clean. The bin in the bathroom was full and the toilet had'nt been cleened.

Nice and modern, cleanish, central location. Not enough tea & coffee facilities for 2 nights & 2 people. No hair dryer. No breakfast when we thought it was a B&B. No staff around!

Friendly staff. Spacious comfortable rooms. Towels supplied. Easy booking and fuss free checking in. hard to find something not to like. If weekend or bank holiday visit then would definitely request a rear facing room to escape the noise from the disco at the front, unless I was young enough to be one of the revellers. If I was being really picky it would be nice to have a lift when arriving/leaving with luggage.

The hotel was in a good location. However, I was unable to sleep in my room as there was a boiler next to my bed, which made a noice. At 2:30 am I went down to the reception to raise my concern but there was no one at the reception. In the morning, I leave a note as there was no one on the reception, asking to look into the matter and to move me to another room. I stayed at Room No: 801, I was charged £35.00 per night, however, Room Nos 802 and 803 occupants were charged £25.00 per night. I raised this issue with Kate at the Bar and Restuarant while having dinner as there was no manager. I was told the manager was on annual leave. I am planning to buy a business at Lowestoft and I will be visiting again, but I am not sure if I want to go through that horrible experience. 1. A clear breach of fairness and transparency with customers. Why was I charged £10.00 extra per night from other customers? Kate at the Bar and Restuarant confirmed with me that indeed I was charged £10 extra per night. 2. I was assured that boiler will be fixed, which was a lie.

The beds were good Toilet was dirty in the appartment - generally the bathroom was not clean. Kitchen and oven not clean. Second sofa was not in situ. We stayed for 5 days, and did not feel comfortable enough to cook a meal there - just toast in the mornings ! Light bulb in entrance of the appartment was not there, and we replaced that. No fridge/freezer, music system, etc, as shown on the internet booking, etc.

Staff very helpful despite a hiccup with the booking. Design was simple but quite elegant, clean(just the cooker top was a bit grotty). Would visit again. Little things missing - no bedside lights in first room, one in the second but bulb didn't work and some form of shelf in the bathroom as everyone travels with loads of 'stuff.' Especially when you are older!

The kitchen was very handy. The hostile reception from the staff. I arrived 5 minutes late at 2305 hours but had phoned mid afternoon to say I had problems and might be late and was told no problem. The guy at the bar was VERY hostile and on that basis I won't return or recommend you to others.

The staff were excellent - very helpful. The accommodation was very good value for money at only £30 per night. Room was very clean and tidy - highly recommended and would definetly stay again - thank you The rooms were a bit too basic. It would have been nice to have a small table to put your keys; wallet; coins etc and perhaps a small bedside light so you can watch tv in bed without having to leave the big main light on - otherwise a very enjoyable stay - thank you

The room was spacious and comfortable and reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was in walking distance to a function I was attending so ideal. Overall very good value for money The stairways had rubbish lying around obviously dropped by some guests. Although the room was clean there was a lot of dust on top of a unit. The wardrobe did not have doors. The bathroom needed a bit of tlc.

Liked that you had a separate living room/kitchen to the bedroom. Also very handy for what we wanted to do during our stay. The heating could be better, the apartment was freezing when we first arrived and only one electric radiator in the living room and a wall heater in the bedroom. Secondly the hot water needs to be explained to you on arrival at the apartments. There was no hot water unless you boosted the system, however the sign made it sound like you didnt need to boost the system unless you ran out of hot water! Staff were friendly but not very clued up on the apartments, for example they didnt know about how the hot water worked. No one there when we checked out so could have checked out at any time.
