Score from 232 reviews Excellent
We were picked up from the airport within 5 mins of using the courtesy phone. The beds were very comfortable. Breakfast the next morning was good. Overall a pleasant stay, very convenient for the airport.
Checking in late whilst a wedding party was in full swing, not impressed with the language of some of the guests in front of my 9yr old but I suppose this is out of the hotels hands. The fire alarm going off at 0700hrs on a Sunday morning was an unwelcome surprise too.
Friendly staff and excellent shuttle service
A bit difficult to find
Hotel easy to find from main road. Peaceful location. Closeness to Bristol Airport. Helpful friendly staff. Good food. Facilities in room good. Free wi fi.
We stayed prior to and returning from flying to Iceland, utilising the airport parking and transfers. Out stay formed part of our anniversary trip. Very pleased overall, comfort, peace, seclusion all very good.
Car parking surface was awful in the wet, rendering footwear, clothing and vehicles a mess.
Reception was still open when we arrived at 12.30am. Wet room and shower were lovely!
Room was cold but they had provided us with an electric heater.
Close to Bristol Airport
Driveway full of pot holes, gives bad first impression, and would cost very little to resolve.
Very welcoming staff
the staff are very friendly and helpful
We actually slept, didn't get woken up by other travellers The welcome at reception Breakfast available, even at the crack of sparrow Comfy room
Darkness of the car park - its really dark and difficult to see (isn't this a safety issue?)
Hotel very clean and grounds amazing ,all staff very polite
Room was far too hot
Distance to airport.
When we arrived in the hotel, we could not find the entrance because it looked like a backyard. The street in front of the hotel has so many wholes that it looks like a battlefield. The reception is cold and unfriendly. The rooms are furnished practically although old fashionned. Very noisy due bad windows! The breakfast is catastrophic. No choice, badly arranged and we had to asked twice for coffee or tea, which was then brought from young unmotivated personnel. We had to collect knives or plates for ourselves as no personnel was there. The floor was dirty and also the tables sticky and not cleaned. During check-out nobody was really intrested in hearing critic about the hotel.
The comfortable room with good toiletries, quality towels and tea/coffee facilities. The proximity to Bristol Airport The Continental breakfast available all night. The taxi service to the airport for only £3.50
The lack of choice on the dinner menu. We ended up choosing a starter and a dessert as all the main courses were too fussy. Intermittent phone signal. The muddy car park.
Staff and accommodation too
Little too far from Bristol centre. But not a problem
Staff was good and helpful, proximity to the airport, quiet location
Breakfast finishes off at 9.30AM on Sunday !(although when asked they arranged coffee and toast for us in bar area), wet room that does not drain so your whole bathroom is in pool of water
Good breakfast offer. Free parking.
Location - in the middle of nowhere. Bedding and bed quality (mattress) up for renewal. Bathroom was not cleaned properly. Staff less motivated.
The staff at Winford Manor are really helpful. I need to stay close to the airport as there is only one flight out each morning at 7am. The airport shuttle they provide takes the hassle out of travelling and the food here is great. Even baked their own gluten-free bread which was lovely.
Having to get up a 4.45am to go the airport, when the beds are so comfy!
Bedrooms could do wifh redecorating and new carpet laid as old one badly stained. Breakfast ok but if you want a full english then expect to pay extra.
Efficient drop and pick-up service from airport
Rather tortuous approach road.
The room, the bar, theposition. Overall a little lacking in atmosphere.
The restaurant experience. Long wait for food, small portions . No cooler for white wine.In experience of staff.
Room was good evening meal OK
Aircraft noise, external appearances-uncooked croissants-poor breakfast generally - under staffed?
Friendly & helpful staff, good food in restaurant
No instructions for operating aircon, so room rather stuffy
The location ( grounds and proximity to Bristol Airport ), and the room.
The staffing levels were insufficient, and also very inexperienced in the restaurant and bar. The bar prices were extortionate.
Location. Good food but not enough staff. Bit like staying in a house not a hotel. Great for over night stay but would not eat there again
Wasn't expecting a motel but would have been fine but for lack of staff. Couldn't get a drink at bar , so went into restaurant . Waited ages for service , almost left to find a pub and wish we had really.
Location, good kitchen, clean and comfortable room, parking available plus shuttle to airport. I will definitely stay on my next trip from Bristol Airport.
Booked a King Size room, given a small chalet size room
