Location was excellent. The de-luxe bedrooms were of a very high standard, although it was not possible to have a shower with cold water. All in all a friendly village hotel and a great place to stay, but not so good for eating. Restaurant food was average and service varied from very pleasant to very helpful by key staff but not all staff met this standard. No fresh fruit was included in the breakfast buffet and only one orange was served when fresh fruit was requested. Hot breakfast was generally very good. |

Friendly atmosphere. Good choice of beers and ales The breakfast serving was a bit disjointed resulting in quite a long delay. Needs someone to control seating and servings. |

A very comfortable, welcoming hotel. Open fires which were welcome on a rainy evening. Large comfortable Family room with seating area. Breakfast was an enjoyable experience with a good varied menu and service. |

We enjoyed the friendly staff and great service. The food was superb. The setting in the village green was quite romantic and welcoming. We would definitely like to come back in the future. |

The room was very comfortable and clean, staff were very friendly. We could have done with a few more nights here! Hotel is cosy and nice. Not much to do in the area of drymen and it was a bit of a drive from the actual loch, meals at dinner were nice but portions were small-ish. Apart from that it was lovely! |

Dinner was not up to standard. Food had been kept hot and a skin had formed. |

This is not for anyone looking for a relaxing break. Our room was above the main bar, which had music up to 2am, and outside in street was noisiest ,rowdiest village in scotland. Other guests had no respect when returning to rooms at 2am. Our luggage was left unattended from 2pm till 10pm in foyer, receptionist did not know it was there, anyone could have walked off with them. |
