Winnock Hotel  

O restaurante do hotel e bom, nao há nada Mt proximo.peq almoco tambem e bom.

O quarto era simpático mas tinha Mt pó. Tinha cama de docel a antiga, mas estava cheia de pó. Passei mal a noite com tosse e alergias.nao foi nada agradável.

The staff were very helpful polite and friendly Nothing was too much trouble.Unfortunately our holiday had to be cut short due to a family illness and every effort was made to help us out as much as possible. The food in both the resturant and bar was very good and not overpriced We enjoyed our short stay very much and will most certainly return in the future.

Stayed our first night as b&b & ate in the (very) nearby Clachan Inn. Lovely meal but recommend booking in advance at weekends. Enjoyed the murder mystery on our second night. Very entertaining. Some might find event slightly rude but actors played to the group who were there & everyone had good fun. Dinner was excellent but breakfast although an extensive menu, slightly lacked in taste.

Unfortunately one of our party (of 6) had to cancel the second night of our stay. I gave the hotel 6 weeks notice of this but the resulting chaos forced me to call the hotel on several occasions, report that I'd been charged a deposit & then full amount again for the single room booking for the murder mystery night. I was reimbursed after pointing this out. Most annoying was that I had to pay a single supplement (of £29) for my daughter to stay in a single room on the second night. She had to vacate the double room she had shared on the first night & move to a single room. After doing this, I then visited her room to find paint peeling off & mould growing on the ceiling above the shower & mould on the window frame. Disgusted by this, I complained to the receptionist who agreed to move my daughter to another room - which turned out to be the double room she had been in the night before! Despite all of that & still paying the £29 supplement, we had a lovely time at the Winnock with our daughter's & partners, to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday

The reception, restaurant and bar area was very nice - a small band as entertainment which was a nice extra!

The rooms were very basic and there was not a proper shower - only a bath with a hand-held shower head - this was not stated before booking the room and I feel it should have been!

The food was very average. A good chef and it could be a great place.

A comfortable hotel with attentive staff. Only stayed one night while attending a wedding at a nearby venue so did not have much opportunity to check out the hotel facilities. Our room was clean and warm and had large screen tv, and the breakfast was excellent.

Clean rooms, with good sized tv. Well situated.

Hotel staff had a very "end of season" attitude, which was poor, however the prices were not "end of season".

Hotel was good for our needs room was clean but a bit tired need new beds, food in restuarant was good and breakfast was fab. Overall it was good and I would stay again

we travled from nottingham on way to isle of skye and used the winnock as a pit stop. everyone we spoke to was friendly and helpful. there was 5 of us stopping as a family 2 adults 2 teenagers and a 7 yr old. the room was more than adequate for 5 of us. we had a bar meal and found this good value for money and a lovley meal. There was a log fire burning all the time in the bar which made the bar have a very warming atmosphere the entertaiment was good and got everyone in a good mood. the breakfast was plentyful and sevice was as before very good and efficent. thanks for a good pit stop winnock will defo visit again if passing this way

Room dusty.Dust on tray for kettle. Tea bags but no biscuits. Very mean. No help offered with cases and had a distance to walk. Tv had to b re- tuned and staff promised to do this and did not appear. Shampoo was empty in shower. A bit fell off the shower. Towels thin and worn. Not much toilet roll. Breakfast was goo but loud and inappropriate music spoiled this.

Clean and spacious room with comforts. The price is quite good!
