Friendly helpful staff

very comfortable warm and inviting. Staff friendly and helpful. Food and service within the dining room are what I expected at a best western hotel

the room had a four poster bed and was tastefully decorated, the location was excellent for acces to both countryside and touring.

The shower temperature was difficult to control

We chose this hotel because of its location and booked an upgraded room. We were not disappointed - the room was large with a balcony, great en-suite with bath (with its own TV!) and separate shower and the bed was very comfortable.

Would have like to have tried the hotel restaurant but it was fully booked - suggest anyone wanting to eat here books a table on check in. There are a couple of other options in the village if you need an alternative.

The friendly, helpful staff. The comfortable room. The great choice of food in both the restaurant and the bar. The staff went out their way to ensure that our stay was enjoyable. Will be returning soon.Would recomend this hotel to everyone.

the room was very comfortable and very well presented, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the meal we had was delicious. After a good night sleep we enjoyed a tasty scottish breakfast setting us up for our day walking in the beautiful surrounding countryside.

A wee biscuit in the room might have been nice.

Close to Loch Lomand. Staff polite.

Although sheets looked laundered, sheets had hair on, this would be down to outside laundry company. Sofa dirty, small tables had not been cleaned that day. Did tell reception, who apologised, and said they will sort out the house keeping.

Spaciouse room.

We didn't like the way this hotel acted like there are mandatory by the police to ask your credit card number and your passeport number. On 15 days we went to 7 different hotels in Scotland and only this one required those information. Moreover, there was a very bad smell in the bathroom. This hotel is like a manufacture, receiving full cars of people and so is quite noisy.

Good location comfortable hotel, though a bit confusing crossing function rooms to get to your room. Too much confusion amongst poorly managed young staff especially at breakfast and at reception.

Did not have evening meal there.

Visited Balloch and Helensburgh both of which are very nice.
