Staff supportive friendly and approachable. Close to all amenities.
Decor is a bit dated but not an issue
Fantastic location. Beautiful building. Very pleasant, welcoming and helpful staff.
Would have liked to have seen a more graciously appointed lounge room in keeping with the architecture and grandeur of the building.
Highly recommended. Great location and wonderful staff
The staff was very friendly, the room was fine and clean and the breakfasts were more than adequate. I would not hesitate to stay there again.,
Easy of access to walk around town, didn't need to drive. Facilies are clean & comfortable.
Our family room had three beds. Room was on ground floor. Lovely breakfast and staff very friendly.
Attentive staff very clean and breakfast first class. We stayed 3 days and waitress remembered our breakfast order.
No lift but would definitely would go back
Lovely old building
The bedroom, too small, only one bedside table. En suite very small also.
Everything was as good as we had hoped. Made very welcome after arriving late. Good breakfast menu. All just perfect.
Location is prefect for the centre of inverness. Friendly staff. Good service at breakfast. Bacon delicious and beautifully cooked.
Mould in the corners of the shower cabinet, beds very squeaky, TV does freeze on occasions. Breakfast sausages - cheap!
Good location. Comfortable room. Plenty of tea/coffee. Friendly welcome.
Friendly staff, overworked! Guest house looked fine from outside. Breakfast good.
We can only judge from our own room but it was not of a good standard. Cobwebs, shower that screeched, extractor fan thumped, did not use wardrobe as looked uninviting inside, once one managed to open the sliding doors. Definitely in need of a good refurbishment!! Such a pity as staff very kind. Would not return.
Had to change to another guesthouse because the ceiling in our room had fallen down. Despite we had to pay the full price. Take another guest house when you want to be serviced right
Location couldn't have been better and Janice, the Manager, could not have been more welcoming or more helpful. The room and ensuite was very tidy and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. Thank you.
Location was great considering I was based in Eden court theatre during the day. Manageress was very pleasant and friendly, despite a frosty start when I advised on phone I wouldn't be arriving until 11pm.
My room was dated and shabby. Wifi was supposed to be free but access was never offered or made available. Windows are single glazed and noise (particularly from demented seagulls) kept me awake from 4am through til my alarm went off. The breakfast menu consisted of every combination of fry up ingredient on separate lines, fruit was soggy and tinned and porridge was not available, even when requested (I was later not charged for bfast).
The food was delicous, the beds were clean. Very convenient location to walk to via bus or train depot
The beds were hard, pillows flat & other guest coming & going very noisey. One group Of several guest partied outside until after11pm .
Great location on the river in Inverness!
The location was very good
The shower was terrible it not even a shower more of a trickle and my second day it was just cold water coming out. Wifi was non existent. The room was on the top floor and with the hot weather was really too warm and stuffy as there was only a small window to open.
Breakfast was good!
Room was so small! Shower had mould in it and the shower head wouldn't stay up! For the price I was expecting a lot more as I've stayed in much nicer for much less
Position, staff friendliness, breakfast, cosy atmosphere, river view room.
Wifi coverage just adequate
Location and friendly atmosphere
Had to walk up 3 sets of stairs and no lounge or WiFi
Staff fantastic...clean, tidy..breakfast lovely..
Decor is a bit dated for a central hotel..I think staff do their absolute best to keep the hotel clean..but I think its hard when carpets need replacing and general decor needs updating...WiFi not too great in the upper floors..
Central location, just across the Ness from "downtown." View of Inverness Castle and access to Ness Walk for early morning walks along the river. Proprietress was most helpful with dinner suggestions.
Being out in the cottage behind the main house, though that was better than having no place to stay!
