Close to Cheltenham town centre and with lovely views of the Cotswolds, this elegant Victorian guest house combines period features with modern facilities, including free Wi-Fi and parking. Conveniently located in a quiet residential area between Cheltenham town centre and the racecourse, Wishmoor House is close to Prestbury Park and the Centaur conference and events centre. A 4-star guest house, Wishmoor has superb en suite rooms, including single, double and twin rooms, as well as a large family room with one double bed and 2 single beds. With attractive original features, each bright, spacious and comfortable room has a TV and tea/coffee making facilities. Some have beautiful views of the Cotswolds. There is also a guest lounge and a lovely garden with a sheltered outdoor smoking area. A splendid full cooked English breakfast is served in the elegant dining room, which has views over the gardens. Breakfast is made from local produce. Pork sausages and tomatoes are oven-baked, lean back bacon is grilled, mushrooms sauteed and eggs fried or scrambled The house can also provide specialist menus on request with advance notice. It was just right for what I wanted. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was good. Since I had an afternoon appointment, I was invited to stay as long as I needed in a comfortable lounge.

We loved how friendly and incredibly helpful the staff were. Nothing was too much trouble. We travelled as a family, elderly Mum and two mature children and we all enjoyed the lovely, warm comfortable rooms. Super breakfast that was catered to our individual needs. We loved it.

Good location and quiet, 15 - 20 minutes walk to town centre. Rooms were quite newly decorated and upgraded. Our twin room could have been better organised and had no table which we missed. Furniture comfortable and shower room good. No tourist information in the room TV difficult to get working but OK. A small firdge would have been useful for those staying for a few days. We like traveling by bus in towns so that we can look around but Cheltenham bus services are poor generally and particularly to the location of this guest house.

I love staying at Wishmoor House. It is warm friendly has ease of access and a very familiar feel to it. Its also quiet and comfortable with a smashing great breakfast.

Spacious room, comfortable beds, very clean room, good tv That the windows didn't open properly: if there had been a fire, we wouldn't have been able to get out that way. Decoration quite old-fashioned.
