The hotel is located in the small village of Camaes Bay, and was ideal for us, as we were walking the Isle of Anglesey Coastal Path. We used the hotel as our base for three days, and it fitted the bill nicely. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, with adequate facilities. The breakfasts were excellent, tasty and perfectly cooked. All in all, a very acceptable small town Hotel. Although the owners looked after us very well, and made our stay perfectly comfortable, it was a bit difficult to engage them in conversation. This is not really a complaint, but it would have been nice if they had displayed a little more enthusiasm for the job, by making our stay enjoyable as well as comfortable.

Loved the Woburn Hill Hotel, from the moment we arrived we felt welcomed and the room was comfortable, everywhere was lovely and warm. The breakfast was really good couldn't have asked for better. We had an evening meal which was very nice. We had no complaints about anything and have stayed in hotels which have charged more for less

Even in the heart of Cemaes, the hotel location was so peaceful, especially at night. Spacious bedroom - colour co-ordinated, cleaned/tidied daily - such nice fluffy towels! Easy car parking on site. Very attractive restaurant and bar/lounge. A lot of thought has been applied to the decor and furnishings. Amazing breakfasts to start the day. Didn't require evening meals as ate mainly at lunchtime whilst around Anglesey, but did eat one evening in the Hotel - a lovely meal at a very good price. There wasn't anything not to like about the Woburn Hill Hotel. There wasn't anything to dislike....... and this isn't a complaint.......only one little mention......my husband and I missed wholemeal toast and marmite at breakfast!! We just wished we had previously decided to stay longer than for five nights!

We had a good stay at the hotel. The couple running Woburn Hill were friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was amazing!! The room was fine but could do with some updating. For instance the shower was not very warm.

Woburn Hill Hotel exceeded my expectations. I chose it rather at random, so I consider myself very lucky. The owners were friendly and very helpful. The room was very clean - and warm! Food was very good - large servings and very reasonably priced. We were happy to return there after our long walks in the cold. I would very happily recommend Woburn Hill Hotel to anybody. One small thing - there were no bar snacks.

There was a warm welcome on arrival. The bedroom was very clean and tastefully decorated. We did not have evening meal as we were attending a friends wedding but the breakfast was excellent. It was well cooked and deliciouslly presented. It is easy to find and a suitable location for lovers of nature or just lovers, there are los of things to do at any time of the year. We just did not stay long enough

We travelled as 2 middle ages couples for a last minute weekend away for my husbands birthday. Having read the good reviews we decided to book the Woburn Hill Hotel. How pleased are we that we did. Everything was superb, the friendly owners, spotlessly clean hotel, location, fabulous food, value for money we could not fault this hotel. Even a birthday card for my husband was waiting on our table at breakfast. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

I think that the hotel management need to brush up on there people skills . The manager was very abrupt . Whether this may have been because we were a young couple as I found that the older couples were spoken to with more respect . Everyone is paying the same amount of money so should be treated the same .

“In search of "Excellence" is the right way to sum up this hotel. In the context of the location it is a five star hotel. The staff, service and value at the price charged on this occasion, were excellent. There was a warm welcome and staff were enthusiastic about their hotel and eager to deliver their best. The absence of a lift is, in context of the size and age range of the regular population is acceptable. I have no negatives and would be delighted to stay with you again and again. I noticed that several non residents were using the hotel restaurant. This would suggest that not only is it the best hotel in the area but it is also the best restaurant in the area.
