Holiday Inn Woking  

The hotel was very clean, with all of the essentials. The check in staff were very friendly and welcoming, they even checked us in a little early. The breakfast was very big and good enough quality considering it was included in the room rate.

The hotel decor was very out of date, not really what i would expect from a holiday inn, i think they could do with at least changing the soft furnishings to something a little more modern. The breakfast attendant accused us of not paying for our breakfast, even though it was included in our room rate, after two heated discussions, she finally confirmed that we had indeed paid, it was badly handled and unnecessary.

Surplus charges especially cost of parking & internet access, high breakfast charge warrants far better food! Room(s) in need of re- decorating/attention, carpets grubby and general appearance weak. Insufficient toiletries left for 2 people. Receptionist, whilst foreign, came across as abrupt, uncaring & unfriendly.

Me and my girlfriend no words apart from the best holiday inn I've stayed at me and my girlfriend will be coming back for sure

Breakfast: very overpriced at £13.50 to £16.50 At a spotless cafe near by, we purchased tea, bacon and egg and tea, juice and toast for £7.80

location, friendly, clean, spacious

Location was perfect, very comfortable beds, very clean, good facilities.

Parking at the hotel is £15 for 24 hours, this wasn't mentioned when we booked. Our rooms weren't side by side, which would of been perfect as they had doors that linked rooms together. Also after a night out, a few of our friends wanted to come back to our room, but the staff wouldn't allow them to our room, this was extremely disappointing, and has completely put us off booking with Holiday Inn again.

The room service meal was excellent & delivered really hot. The reception staff were particularly helpful.

Could not check in soon because a staff was on the phone for very long and nobody other than her was in the front desk.

The gentleman who met me at reception was extremely friendly and courteous.

The rest of the staff were rude at times. The gym facilities are poor (laughable - there are 2 bikes), so hardly a mini gym. Also, everything was an add on. Wi-fi was expensive which should have been included in the price. I would not say good value for money.

One of our party left a purse at the Hotel and it was found and returned

The hotelmwas clean and the interior design was festive for the season. The waitress that served us was very personable.

There should be free wifi. There were no shower caps in room . No herbal tea sachets.

I liked very little about this hotel

Staff whee rude and surly, was expected to pay for the car park, room smelt of sweat ,housekeeping where banging in my door at 8 15 am in the morning , Internet service appeared not to work when I spoke to the reception they put me through to a call centre which never answered, when I claimed the monies back they asked for the receipt which I left in the room, the receptionist then went straight upstairs to my room to get the receipt ,,, Service was appalling, staff had been trained by either a concentration camp or a prison as demeanour was less than friendly

quick check in, good sized room, air con worked well. nice friendly staff.

breakfast was a bit.... soggy. staff in the breakfast area seemed very quick to clear a table. tea and coffee was served to your table but wasn't always prompt.

Simple and exactly what was required

I felt that charging £15 a night for parking when the municipal car park next door was less than half this price was a bit mean.

Overall a good stay. Thank you for the bar staff.... helpful. Reception staff good... helped us with our bags as arrived for check in early

Rooms slightly old fashioned compared to other places that I have stayed. Had higher expecatations of the room for the price we paid. Did not know breakfast was available. When found out price was so high decided to eat in town for 1/2 the price.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Given a smoking room which we didn't want but an air purifier was put in the room which did eliminate any smell. Very good position for Woking town centre and good sized room. We were able to leave our luggage after booking out.

As I had not booked directly with the hotel I was dumped into a Smoking room that stank. the receptionist advised that they were full and it was the only room available -- I don't believe that to be true ! Additionally the Receptionist promised to get the Housekeeper to put something in the room to help with the smell... why am I not surprised that this did not actually happen !!
