“The hotel facilities are in superb conditions and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The views from the room are spectacular. They always have some attractions to make your stay enjoyable. During our stay there was a Cuban dinner and dance. The food was delicious.”

Bedroom and food. Television in bedroom was terrible although we didn't complain because we didn't use it much but it would be a problem for someone who wanted to watch it. Didn't get a paper 1st morning although ordered.

All the staff were freindly and welcoming, bar nibbles of olives and salami c ompnesated for the fact that we could not get a table until 8.15. Good wine list, excellent starter of scallops andblack pudding for my husband, lovely king prawns iwth chorizo for me - we will be returning. Did not get my Sunday newspaper as ordered which was annoying - another customer had been given it, and would not give it back in time for me to enjoy with my breakfast. Kedgeree was not available, otherwise all fine!

I thought it was a comfortable hotel and the room offered most of the facilities I was looking for. There was not a decent radio in the room and the T.V. was badly positioned , for example it could not be seen from the bed. I did not like being given a menu for dinner in the bar and then ignored for 20 minutes. The breakfast was very poorly presented and not cooked - I asked for two poached eggs and toast and one egg was not cooked properly.

Position, very nice staff, good standard of room , clean, whilst certain products were unavailable from the menu the rest were excellent. Room was extremely cold as the heating had been turned off, when I asked for it to be turned on it took a further 2 hours and another request. Room was cold late evening as the heating had been turned off again and there was no method of heating the room once the hotel had turned off the heating.

Room was very comfortable and the food was superb. Bar staff need some training in the content of 'bloody mary' as an example. I also asked if there was ginger beer and then ordered a 'rum and ginger beer' but was served rum and ginger ale!

Large room, comfortably furnished, and very well presented. Very good menu in the restaurant for the evening meal, and a great breakfast. Dining room rather dark at breakfast with no windows to look out of at the views. Apparently they plan to change this in 2012.

Friendly, helpful staff - if rather too few on the ground out of busy hours. The room on the website did not match the room we were given! The decor is 1970s tired and our view was over the roof of the kitchen block - similarly tired. Our request for a 'quiet' room did not work out either, with noisy stairs behind the soft, bedhead, wall.

Staff were very friendly; they allocated a very nice, big family room for 3 to my sister and her 2 teenage children, and my husband and I had a nice double. The dining/breakfast room feels very dark and cavernous.

A great place to start from with all areas of Pembrokeshire easy to reach. Think the hotel needs a way of recirculating air better as quite stuffy in dining room and bar.

Lovely spacious rooms. Great staff. Beautiful surroundings. First class dining room. Make sure you visit St. David's, about 12 miles away. Nothing to see in the area. We used this as a stopover on our way from Ireland to London.

The location of the hotel was very convenient for visiting all the tourist hotspots in Pembrokeshire. My room was huge and spotlessly clean. The bathroom was also very large and the bath just the right size to relax in! The staff (except for one) were extremely pleasant and helpful and the food delicious. Be aware that the portions are huge - if I'd known beforehand I wouldn't have had the starter as I couldn't do justice to the main course! Fabulous full breakfast too. Lots of leaflets to read about the local attractions and the history of the hotel and surrounding area is given in the folder in your room. No lift. I am not good going upstairs and my room was on the 2nd floor but I took it as good exercise for me!
