Location ideal for chichester/arundel. Clean, comfortable and welcoming. Breakfast was fantastic. Room with en suite and our own front door with nice decor. Comfortable crisp bedding. Free wifi. Ample parking and lovely grounds. More than pleased with our choice. Owner was lovely.
Lovely hosts. Very clean room with TV, beverages, toiletries etc. Very nice breakfast (but be prepared to order the evening before)- not a problem for us. Very convenient for Arundel and many local sightseeing visits.
We knew before we arrived that our room shared a bathroom but, even so, the stay would have been that much nicer had an en suite been available. Having said that, it was not a problem for a short stay.
The room was beautiful very well decorated and very clean. The owner was lovely, very friendly and helpful.
Very pleasant stay...sad to leave....
Was nothing we didn't like....
Located near Arundel
Location, Décor, Breakfast, Garden
Loved the setting and proximity to historic Arundel and the seaside. Delicious breakfast in the conservatory.
Instructions were confusing as we drove past Fontwell to Arundel and then had difficulty finding the roundabout. Great parking when we finally arrived
Host food fcilities
Lovely house and garden. Owner very friendly
No en-suite facilities and room much smaller than appeared in the photograph
The staff , Sue, was very friendly and careful with the guests. The breakfast was good but not too diverse ( too many eggs products) The location was very nice surounded by different types of vegetation Nice car parking and good connection to the highway.
During our first night was quite cold in the room and we found out later that the staff was not familiarised with the heating control sistem so they could not solve the problem . But Sue tried her best and offered some extra blankets. The doors from the rooms had no handle on outside you should have good nails to close it. The breakfast was quite the same in 2 days and not too much diversity on it (eggs and eggs). The wi-fi was quite a phantom in the whole building and some phone networks did not have any presence in that area. The price is a little bit too much for the offer.
Setting was gorgeous and owners very friendly.
Could have done with better directions to the property.
Small room - mind your heads! We requested a room where no pets have stayed in - this demand was clearly neglected. Breakfast: hardly any youghurt - hardly any fruit Could not get into the shower
A lovely comfy and restful stop on our busy journey...spacious room, spotless facilities, scenic location. Breakfast...delicious!
good food lovely garden friendly hostess
rather near main road hard to find!
We made a special request when we booked via booking.com which was taken care of perfectly and enthusiastically.
Shared bathroom facilities were not what we would have liked but they presented no real problem for us during our 2 night stay.
My wife and I met met my sister and her two boys. The cottage with separate entrance fit the bill. Boys loved the big garden Family room with three beds Ensuite for wife and I was very comfortable. Vicky was hospitable without being intrusive. Lovely breakfasts
Sister noticed ants but it happens to us too in Spring. Perhaps bait stations. Otherwise perfect.
