Wood Hall is positioned at the end of a long dramatic drive, surrounded by 100 acres of woodland and manicured lawns. It is a 25-minute drive from Leeds and Harrogate, and 40 minutes from York. Dating back to the 18th century, it offers 44 luxurious bedrooms and a restaurant that has been awarded 2 AA Rosettes. There is also a health club and spa for you to enjoy. Staff were friendly and engaged. Helpful. Breakfast service was poor. Sunday lunch service was good.

we had an overnight stay which we felt was not long enough to explore everything and would like to return when the weather is more amenable the staff were very nice and made an effort to chat there was not much we didnt like there was a wedding on which meant we could not use the bar area but the lounge provided was very nice the bacon at breakfast was so hard it was inedible but we didnt comment on it as everything else was ok

Our whole experience at wood hall was magic. Food and staff were excellent. Hope to go again sometime The stupid wedding guests who thought they had priority over everything and everyone! But it's a wedding venue so there is not much anyone can do.

We stayed at Wood Hall for a friend's wedding. Everything abut the stay was first class. It is a little pricey but, I guess, you get what you pay for.
