We came for a week to visit our family who were having building work done, so we couldn’t stay with them. We have used the hotel before and feel very comfortable staying there. Lovely staff and comfortable room. We didn’t have meals.

A most excellent welcome was followed by a lovely lunch and easy check in. The room was beautifully decorated and I slept really well in the comfy bed. Breakfast the next morning was outstanding. I'd highly recommend this place.

Pleasant old English village with 18th and 19th century buildings in the heart of the English countryside.However this charming village seems to be on a rat run for traffic in the early morning. So don’t expect a quiet village setting first thing in the day.

Henfield is a quaint, small English village with beautiful old buildings, lovely walking trails and great cafes and pubs for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It is close enough to Brighton and other larger cities yet far enough from the hustle and bustle to be a relaxing and welcoming respite, You can easily walk everywhere you need to go and all of the places we visited had good food and nice surroundings.HarrietUnited States of America

(Did not take evening meal or breakfast) but the room - although very pleasant, comfortable and clean, was a little on the small side. It was also exceptionally hot for some reason. Just a high-sided bath with mixer taps and shower hose/head rather than a ‘proper’ shower. Not the easiest/safest to get into and out of. Having said that, the staff were professional and friendly and the location/outlook is lovely. We would stay again but probably choose a larger room.

Breakfast was a similar experience with a freshly cooked breakfast and a good choice of food. Since our last visit the hotel has improved and is now nicely decorated with additional facilities available.
