Set on a hill, overlooking the picturesque fishing town of Brixham, the 4-star Woodlands Guest House has modern bedrooms, free Wi-Fi and free parking at the back of the building. In the morning, guests are served a full English breakfast in the elegant dining room. Packed lunches are available on request and special diets can be catered for. Each bedroom at Woodlands has an en suite shower room with a hairdryer and free toiletries. All rooms have tea/coffee-making facilities and a mini fridge, and the Garden Chalet has its own kitchen and patio area. There are many beaches a 5-minutes’ drive from the property, including Breakwater Beach. Torquay is a 20-minute drive from the guest house and Dartmoor national park can be reached in less than 1 hour by car. This little B&B is in a great location, is spotlessly clean and the proprietors are warmly welcoming. (They went out of their way to help out when I needed it. Actually I don't know what I would have done without them). The property is attractively designed with a pretty garden. I ticked the luxury and gourmet boxes with particular reference to the Breakfast which was always delicious weather you choose the traditional English or choose from the quite extensive tempting menu. Bravo Woodlands.

every aspect of the stay. the guesthouse was excellent, the owner friendly, the room very clean and prepared. the breakfast was excellent and was only a short walk to the harbour.

Nothing in section 3 was appropriate. Guest House was ideal for touring/ sightseeing/pubs. Excellent view. Helpful proprietor. Comfortable bed. Good tea-making facilities. Short walk to town. Peaceful location. We had to climb a lot of stairs to reach our room. Road to car park was very steep, with sharp corners. Room numbers on breakfast tables would have been useful.

Close to brixham harbor and free parking was good. Staff were very friendly and nice accommodation. The bed was very lumpy and creaky and didn't sleep very well all night.

The guest house was beautifully furnished and spotless.Paul and Rita were very friendly and hospitable.The breakfast was excellent and kept us going all day.Everything about the guest house was 10 out of 10 and would recommend it to anyone. Unfortunately due to my partener Rons breathing problems the guest house is on a hill with too many steps to the door so found this difficult to venture far without going out in the car.I would not recommend this guest house to anybody with dissabilites and poor health.

breakfast was amazing, had the continental Wasn't aloud to use toilet when we arrived early to drop off car. Rules everywhere. Linen only changed once a week and towels every half a week.

The sea view Notes on all the furniture in the room advising people not to spill anything. Guest House a little sterile, so slightly uncomfortable, including the gentleman we met who was cold in personality.

Very welcoming, friendly and hospitable proprietors. Well run and clean establishment. Good breakfasts. Well situated quite close to the town centre. Room was cramped - partly because of an over large wooden bed frame which we frequently accidentally banged our shins on. Washbasin was in bedroom rather than in en suite. Car park was accessed down very steep, narrow entry.
